This thread has reached 100 pages. I can finally die now.
No it hasn’t.
JEDIT: Yes, it has.
They should print alternate covers on the other side.
Sometimes they do just that.
^I read that in Snoke’s voice.

Reminds me of the myspleen thread.

Phasma returns only to be eaten by the giant Porg,
I really want Phasma to return and then be killed again as a running gag in the ST. But without giving any explanation how she survived.
Black Panther is a fan project? I’m impressed.
Maybe Stormtrooper armour protects against weapons that are typically used by revolting civilians, like melee weapons or light blasters. The blasters used by the Empire and the Rebels might be high-powered military weapons.

I can’t help you, but maybe you should ask in the ROTJ DE thread. And you should probably remove the reddit links. Posting direct download links (and these are pretty direct) is not allowed here.
EDIT: And I’m a big blu-ray collector and advocate of home-video rather than going to the cinema.

(What I thought you were going to say)
Boba Fett is mentioned by name in ROTJ.
My point was that using other questionable scoring methods to call RT into question doesn’t make logical sense.
But it makes perfect sense. If you measure the same thing with different methods and none of the results agree, it’s perfectly logical to assume that any or all of the methods are flawed.
No, it doesn’t make sense. He said RT is flawed and he pointed to other sources he considers more definitive to support his argument. I’m the one who posited that they’re all likely flawed in some way.
The way I understood it, he used these other scores to point out that there are disagreements. And because of these disagreements, RT shouldn’t be seen as definite prove that most people dislike or hate the movie.
And we’re not measuring the same thing. While there’s almost certainly some crossover in the samples, CinemaScore’s audience isn’t IMDB’s and isn’t RT’s.
All of these sites try to measure how a movie was received by the audience as a whole. Sure, they use different samples, but they certainly claim to reflect an overall opinion and that’s also how they are used in discussions. The different methods are how the score is calculated and related to the bigger population. And a free-for-all approach without much regulations, like RT and IMDB, is definitely biased by simply taking the average of all scores without compensating for differences between users and regular audiences. This doesn’t mean a more controlled poll has no bias at all, but there certainly is a difference between bias and heavy bias.

I ate lots of alphabet soup.
Regarding the size of Star Destroyers, you might be able to make an estimate based on the relation of the diameter of the Falcon to the size of the Star Destroyer bridge in ESB.
Seriously, we’re on a site that was created by adults (like me) who can’t handle the fact that their favourite childhood film had some cartoon dinosaurs inserted into it. We collect action figures and read comic books and discuss at great length just how white the snow on Hoth might have been on the original 1980 film stock. Yet someone writes a long dissertation about one of these movies and suddenly everyone’s like “gee, get a life dude”.
Isn’t this exactly the place for such a post?
It’s not about “not being able to handle the fact” that the SE exists, it’s about the SE replacing the theatrical cuts. If we had both in the same quality, we wouldn’t be here.
People are attached to the OOT, because they watched it for many years, so it’s understandable to be passionate about it. Arguing with the same passion about a movie you never liked is a completely different situation.
These are two different situations. In the first post you quoted, he specifically asked a question; in the second post, he talks about people who approach strangers on the street and unsolicitedly talk about their faith.
What about undigested food in his stomach? Did that also become one with the Force? It’s not really part of his body yet, so it should be left behind.
You’d think that vanishing into the Force was sucha clean and peaceful process, but it’s actually more messy than normal death.
When you think about it, Jar-Jar stepping in poop isn’t that out of place anymore, it actually has a long tradition dating back to the very first film:
You are right mate - doh!
Try this as a background…
(it worked for me earlier)
better now?
No.
