How does this affect adywan’s edit?
Seriously, Vaders breathing didn’t get explained in movies till 20 years after there was 3 movies of him breathing. So what’s the big deal that Grevious coughs? Anyway, that was explained in the first clone wars cartoon. I checked out the dvd and saw it myself. Mace windu crushes his chest with the force.
I’d say seeing Vader without the mask, first only a bit of him in Empire, then completely in Jedi, should be enough explanation for his breathing.
I probably wouldn’t mind Grevious’ coughing, if Vader hadn’t had it before. Two villains with the same kind of breathing problems is simply unoriginal.
Guilty as charged.
Oh boy, I think that last beer was spoiled.
Can I have a myspleen invite?
Just kidding.
In direct links to posts, the content is stretched over the whole width of the screen.

Also, the first post in a topic is also stretched, but only for the signature and quote/report buttons.

I got it, too, when trying to read a private topic. Reloading the page worked.
D’oh
Did you miss the part where Spielberg told Lucas to watch Independence Day?
I think he’s a bored kid. His parents should take away his internet access.
Your wife should take away yours as well. That internet personality disorder of yours needs to get out of the basement more often.
You’re posting in the wrong thread. This is the one you’re looking for …
Ah, glad to see among your other outstanding qualities, you’re a homophobe.
We don’t discriminate here so take your hatred some place else please?
My hatred?
Oh ok.
You obviously hate homophobes, that makes you a homophobe-phobe.
Reload the site? Clear your cache?
But you have a new avatar? A blond girl with a waffle?
Is he a troll?
Is he HansiG?
Is he a sock?
Is HansiG a sock?
For a moment I was thinking: “Why would they put yttrium, lead and praseodymium in a cable?”
At this time (while he’s alive), I don’t think that Disney would want to disrespect George and put out any versions of the movies he doesn’t consider cannon.
They threw out his ideas for Episode 7 and they let his last movie go completely unnoticed, if this isn’t a big “Fuck you, George”, then I don’t know what is. Would releasing the OOT really make things worse between Disney and Lucas after that?
It sounds like something MathUser would say.
After the Moka Pot Disaster™, I finally had some good self-made coffe today.
If Disney doesn’t release the OOT, it’s because they think most people don’t care enough about it. And the reason why most people might not care is Lucas neglecting it for decades. I can forgive not releasing the OOT because of a business decision more easily than not releasing the OOT in order to replace it with the SE.
The point of a genre is to group pieces of music that shares a certain characteristic. If you don’t like that specific characteristic, then the genre just isn’t for you.
That’s quite the over simplification when bands like Beherit and Iron Maiden have different styles of riffing, different types of production, different subject matters, vocal style etc. When talking about a genre like Metal you can’t lump music like that into one group because there are subgenres in subgenres and even bands who are in the same genre like Autopsy and Behemoth sound nothing alike.
Yes it’s a simplification but for some genres it can be applied. For very broad genres like metal, it may not hold, but then it applies to its subgenres. In fact, I don’t like different metal subgenres for different reasons, but ultimately, I wouldn’t say I like any subgenre, so it’s not wrong to say that I don’t like metal.
Why do you assume that’s a “no” from everybody?
I don’t.
Do you like glitch? No? Have you listened to at least three albums of ten different artists each? How can you know you don’t like it then?

Modular synthesizers are amazing.
Also, about the RLM review, I wish people on this site were more open-minded about the Ring Theory and other examinations of the prequels instead of constantly saying they’re full of crap.
My problem with the ring theory is that it shouldn’t be that big of a deal to warrant a 10 page essay or whatever that guy wrote about it. A prequel should be expected to share the imagery of the original, but instead the PT’s look is comletely different than the OT’s, except for a few scenes that share the same camera angle or composition. Treating these few moments as examples of brilliant movie-making, while ignoring the flawed story, writing, dialogue or acting is simply grasping at straws.
Also, the article claims these visual references were carefully crafted to mirror the OT and create some circle or whatnot, while in reality, they are more or less random, with each prequel mirroring shots from different originals.
