I have these on VHS:

The Godfather - The Epic : 1901-1959 (3 tapes)

The Godfather Trilogy : 1901-1980 (4 tapes)

I bought them from eBay sometime ago, I've watched them and I highly recommend them. There's footage on them that hasn't been made available on any of the DVD releases.

maurice2029, this looks awesome! Can't wait for this! I just got my Terminator 2 Edition Finale 4 DVD boxset from France, just because you said it was a good release! So that's 3 different releases of T2 for me, so far.

There's a Laserdisc set currently on ebay.co.uk and I am bidding on it. I'll let you know how it goes. I don't have the facilities to convert it to DVD, but I am more than willing to lend to someone so they can do it.

DVD Compare has this to say:

The Region 1 Off Color Films / Fox has DTS 5.1 sound.
The Region 0 (but it's an American release) Elite Entertainment - Millennium Edition) has the best transfer.
Note that the Region 1 Off Color Films / Fox includes both colorized and B/W versions.

Didn't someone make a HD2DVD port of this? Or am I imagining it?
