This project has a lot of interesting concepts and ideas, does anyone know if this is still being worked on?
I think that the closest thing to “the prequels revisited” would be Snooker’s edits, as those really feel more in line with the tone of the original trilogy (From what I can see)
Nonetheless, it seems that she has been quite busy; since her AOTC (That looks fantastic) has ben a WIP for a time
I would love an edit of the anime JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure where their musical references play during the Stand Stats and where every character speaks their native language (although not all the time, obviously, since it is very common for characters from different countries to interact with each other)

One idea I had was going all-out with changes in Episode I, which is a prequel 3-in-1. Then the Cassian Andor show is Episode II, followed by Rogue One as Episode III.
As I said on Discord, that wouldn’t really work as a trilogy. It’d just be a standalone film followed by an unrelated duology.
I agree with everything NotTheDr0ids said. To really work as a trilogy, it needs the same core cast and not too big time skips.
Maybe we could have an alternate prequel trilogy focused entirely on Cassian, Saw and the rebellion; while the prequels are edited as a single spin-off movie in the style of Rogue One and Solo. Andor’s trilogy could go like this:
*Episode I = Andor Season 1
*Episode II = Andor Season 2
*Episode III = Rogue One
So, I came across with this edit of Rex in Episode II and I thought it looked pretty nice (Even though I am not sure if he was meant to be there in canon)
I completely love that mock-up, RL!!!
The premise of this thread sounds very interesting. Because of that, I wanted to brainstorm some ideas as well (though some were already suggested on other threads by other editors):
-Vader mentions Padme during his scene with Luke (through the line “Your mother once thought as you do”)
-When Vader lifts the Emperor, an slight “bone crack” sound effect can be heard (like in the novelization for ROTJ, where Vader breaks Palpatine’s back before throwing him)
-Add Palpatine’s spin scream from ROTS (or maybe his laugh) when his body explodes, in order to suggest that his essence left his body and went “somewhere else”
-Snoke’s voice lines from TFA teaser trailer could be added at the very end of the credits (similar to how Vader’s breathing was featured at the very end of the credits of TPM)
I wonder when adywan will be revealing the plan that he had outlined for PT:R?
Some of the things that I heard about were instead of C-3PO being built by Anakin, he was going to start as a protocol droid for the Queen, the duel between Obi-Wan and Anakin on Mustafar was going to take place in AOTC, and Obi-Wan was going to have two apprentices.
If I remember correctly, he also said some of the following things (if that can help you):
-Yoda would be a puppet
-All the Jedi would have blue lightsabers
-Windu fights Palpatine alone
-Darth Vader (with the armor) leads the army to the Jedi temple, not Anakin
-Padme survives Episodes III

Someone had recreated Sebastian Shaw from an image of Tobey Maguire. I decided to put together a gallery myself to possibly help jonh with a new Force ghost sequence.
Hmmmm, I think it could work (although he looks kind of odd in some of the pictures)
But we should only use pictures where Tobey’s hairstyle resembles the one that Sebastian had in ROTJ (and also where Tobey’s beard is pretty much non-existent), mostly because FaceApp tries to merge both hairstyles and you might end up with an “emo” Sebastian Shaw
Someone managed to recreate Sebastian Shaw’s appearance using Tobey Maguire as a template and faceapp noting that they have a similar hairstyle and head shape, maybe that would help for future attempts? https://m.imgur.com/t/faceapp/Xn1rp99
That was me, but aside of that picture, I didn’t do anything else
I can see some potential, though
Every time there’s an slightly romantic scene, “Freek’n You” by Jodeci plays in the background
I’m sure making Sifo-Dyas a Sith apprentice was one of George’s ideas at one point, but both the original EU and Clone Wars season 6 (which was technically released under Disney but written with George’s direct involvement) officially established him as a well-intentioned Jedi whose drastic actions were discovered and exploited by Sidious, who eventually ordered Dooku to have him killed.
Definitely an intriguing idea for a fanedit linking the trilogies, though.
Yeah, you’re completely right
I also think that it’s an interesting idea, nonetheless (One that could be implemented in one of those edits that mostly ignore the canon)
Sifo-Dyas was a secret Sith and Palpatine’s apprentice according to George. I’m very interested to see how he would’ve brought this idea to life in his Sequels to bring the story full circle further. I like the idea of him and Dooku being used as tools at the same time for the Grand Plan.
You know? This gave me the idea that maybe we could remove Sifo’s name in Episode II and change it to Snoke
This (along with making Sidious and Dooku’s final scene take place in Exegol, rather than Coruscant) would be a nice reference to the sequel trilogy
Though I don’t know if sentence-mixing the word “Snoke” would sound convincing enough

Dude, be patient, please
Also, what’s up with your name?
I know that some people removed the “Mustafar minute” from their edits and instead the film begins with Kylo’s ship jumping out of hyperspace.
So, I thought that maybe Mustafar could be re-inserted into the film, in a scene where Kylo rebuilds his mask inside of Vader’s castle
The scene would go like this:
-Establishing shot of Mustafar (ROS)
-Vader’s castle (Biomes)
-Kylo rebuilds his helmet (ROS)
What do you think?

I can always use Google Translate, but can anyone translate the following into French, Spanish, Portugues, Spanish, Italian, and/or Dutch?
“Who are you?”
“I am a highly trained Resistance spy.”
“Then why are you… What?”
Here’s in Spanish:
-“Soy un espía de la Resistencia altamente entrenado”
-“¿Entonces por qué… Qué?”
Since Matt is going to voice Anakin in Lego Star Wars The Skywalker Saga, I think the only thing we should worry is that he dubs most of his lines and doesn’t left us with only a handful of them (he also voices Anakin in Battlefront 2)
These might be a bit of a stretch but maybe you could add Owen & Beru from the PT deepfaked into the OT and vice versa (the same could be said about Mon Mothma and General Dodonna from Rogue One)
Also, I made some mockups a long time ago in FaceApp about how some of these deepfakes would look like (you can looks for them in my profile)
Transformers Dark of the Moon with an alternate ending where Optimus Prime accepts Megatron’s truce
It would go like this:
-When Bumblebee deactivates the pillar, Cybertron begins to tear itself apart but it doesn’t become a wormhole (since in this version, Cybertron stays in Earth’s atmosphere until the end)
-After Megatron beats up Sentinel, his dialogue where he offers a truce to Optimus is slightly tweaked to make it sound more sincere
-Optimus moves his head, accepting the offer
-Sentinel talking about why he had to betray Optimus and his death is kept but the shots where Megatron’s corpse is seen are removed
-The ending is mostly the same, but with the shot of Optimus moving his head while seeing Sam is removed (because it was used earlier in a different context) and the shots where Megatron’s body is seen are also removed (since he lives)
-The speech that Optimus gives is tweaked to include lines from Transformers The Last Knight, inviting the Autobots to go home and that both races should join to repair their damaged planets
-While Optimus is giving his speech, some shots of the government cleaning Chicago in the aftermath of the conflict is inserted (From Transformers Age of Extinction) and also some shots from a disjointed Cybertron in Earth’s atmosphere (from The Last Knight)
-The Last shot of Optimus’ speech is a Cybertronian ship exiting Earth to repair Cybertron (actually the last shot from Optimus’ speech in The Last Knight)
-The screen cuts to the credits, while Steve Jablonsky’s soundtrack sounds in the background
I don’t know if this is where I should ask this, but would it be possible to ‘fix’ the strange TLJ Yoda puppet by deepfaking him with the ESB/ROTJ Yoda?
Ebkas did something like that almost a year ago with EbSynth (I think)
I’d like to replace on of C-3PO’s lines with something along the lines of “There’s a call coming in from the Resistance.”
Anyone have any ideas where I can find a suitable line?
I’m not sure if it could work but maybe you could trie to sentence mix the scene in Episode II where 3PO tells Padme that they have a message from Obi-Wan

Finn and the Villager Deleted Scene - No Timecode
It’s a simple scene that some might consider unnecessary, but I’ve always really liked it. I think it gives Finn’s decision not to kill the villagers a more personal touch.
I was watching this a few hours ago and I thought:
Do you guys think this short scene could be repurposed convincingly as a flashback for Jannah’s story? (obviously with the blood removed from the helmet
Add this to A New Hope and just act like if nothing weird happened

But honestly the hardest part of turning Pasaana into Jedha is that the name of the planet is mentioned in dialogue. One of those instances (a FO officer reporting to Kylo) could be redubbed as her mouth is away from view, but Rey saying “Pasaana” before embarking on the journey seems more difficult to change.
Since “Jedha” sounds very similar to “Jedi” and that word is said quite a lot by Rey, the only thing we would really need would be something that sounds like the “-ha” from “Jedha”

I was able to finesse it to make it work even so, as the purple blade is only on the far left for a few frames, using layering and cropping.
I was able to tinker with some of the other bits and pieces. I did find where 21C has posted the Mustafar shots. I will get that implemented with corresponding audio. And that way if anyone does want to explore the idea of adding trees to the foreground I could drop that in.
It’s the one found here, immediately following the establishing shot of the planet:
It looks great 👍
Are you gonna add the shot of the castle and the forest (the one right after we see the pilot)?
