saw their naughty bits, so I am not sure.
Yeah, I don’t get Dr. Who
Me either apparently
To understand it, you must take a Dalek action figure to a graveyard at 12:00 AM sharp, place it on the tombstone of someone who either was born or died on 23 November 1963, and then walk around it five times backwards and counterclockwise while singing the Doctor Who theme for a minimum of five minutes. Then the ghosts of every bygone actor who ever played the Doctor will appear to you and bequeath you with the knowledge you seek.
Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.
This sucks. 😦
As in stacking rocks in ESB was a mistake?
And lifting X-Wings out of the swamp and pulling lightsabers out of the ice and …
It was a mistake to make the Force more than a spiritual/mental power.
Now you can at least start picking up the pieces and moving on.
And now I’m really reminded of Fleetwood Mac’s “Gold Dust Woman”.
I think it’s stupider that Time Lords naturally look human (as opposed to assuming such a form) than that they can oscillate between genders.
But then, I’m not a Doctor Who fan.
not voting and instead staying home and masturbating will solve everything
DEBRAH FARENTINO
Looks like an escapee from a Kevin J. Anderson fever dream.

To paraphrase suspiciouscoffee: “Canon is fake, do what you want.”
You realize he was just parodying you when you say you aren’t going to engage with insert poster right?
Also I must admit my understanding of DW is very limited, but HAS it always been a male? I thought it was kinda like a trill. Sure it always HAS been a male, but does it HAVE to be? I mean it’s not like Luke was suddenly a woman in the ST or anything, doesn’t the very gimmick of the series enable the doctor to be a woman sometimes?
The Doctor turned into a woman in The Curse Of The Fatal Death, which was a one off comedy special that aired during a charity telethon in the 1990’s. Coincidentally, that was written by Steven Moffat, who worked on the new version of the show until recently.
Non-canon as far as I know.
Who cares.
This forum gives me a headache and/or heartburn on occasion.
I should flog myself for not having listened to more Zappa.
It also looks like something I would have created.
Those are both bad things.
Man you have children
I spent more than 10 seconds on that though.
But is 3 minutes a significant improvement on 10 seconds?
Back when Disney didn’t just have heart, but balls, too.
I feel sorry for you Doctor Who fans.
I haven’t seen a bad Audrey Hepburn film.
Neither have I. But then, I’ve only see Wait Until Dark.
Judge Doom. Red eyes. Nuff said.
bad aging job.
That’s some freaky shit I’ve never heard of. What would a good one entail?
Not fond of aged cheddar, I take it.
So the tech setting of Star Wars does make it science fiction. Space wizards are typical fare for space opera. The Mule in the Foundation stories, Paul in Dune, Gary Mitchell in Star Trek.
Except that Star Wars doesn’t take place in the future, while those other stories do. That’s the main difference.
So if someone were to write a story about an advanced alien civilization set in the distant past — and for the sake of argument, let’s say there were absolutely no mystical elements present — it still wouldn’t qualify as sci-fi?
Sounds stupid to me.
