and Darth Scabrous,
Four slices of deep-dish cheese pizza. It was really off, though; the crust was firm and browned and the cheese really soft, like it had been exposed to extreme heat.
Fuck my apartment complex’s management.
So I was significantly late on rent this month thanks to other issues that came up that required stuff like…well…bail money and an attorney. Because of this, I had to pay my rent through means other than the usual online portal.
I’m surprised I read that suggestively and DE didnt’t…
Who says I didn’t?
I talked to the leasing office people and asked how much I owed (with extra fees), and if I had to pay with a cashier’s check or money order. They specifically said “either.” Went and got a money order today because it’s slightly cheaper, and brought it to them…
…only to be told, oh, no, we don’t accept money orders in any capacity and haven’t for years, it absolutely has to be a cashier’s check.
There are times when I believe these assholes do this kind of stuff on purpose.
catbus is a very funny guy, honestly.
You’re not wrong.
His avatar and username are quite cromulent, also.
I’m disappointed that nobody is paying attention to my suggestion. I thought it was a good idea, actually.
If you go for it, I’ll participate.
I find the “red saber” aspect hokey, but then again, I’m not the biggest fan of established lightsaber colour symbolism to begin with.
The Ewoks have been severely trimmed (Animal cruelty?).
Would be an interesting experiment to deliberately write an EU novel and get it published. 😛
Removed redundancy
You’re suggesting that (current?) EU novels are bad. It really depends on the author.
He’s suggesting EU novels in toto are bad, which is funny (but not “ha ha” funny).
Haven’t read it.
Neither have I. The excerpts I did read were extremely dire, though.

Isn’t that what Aftermath is?
What do you look for in a friend?
Healthy organs. I don’t want to eat anyone diseased.

I tried reading Darth Plagueis once. A page-turner, it was not.
But it had the Legends banner. Maybe it would’ve been better without it.
I’d say anything with the name “Plagueis” in or on it has earned the Legends banner.
Give her a chestburster. Problem solved.
^ I agree and I don’t really understand it because the books are still on the shelves in most bookstores , it’s not like they don’t exist anymore .
Doesn’t matter if they’re still being published. They’re not canon, which means they’re not “real”, which means they’re not worth spit.
Fanboys are ****ing stupid.

Some about Willie boy is wack. Can’t tell if it’s the hand or the face or both.
I happened upon this some years ago:

It cites its sources, too.
The terrible Cat Grant has been binned and the writing’s a bit tighter, but John Shea’s Lex is sorely missed. In all other regards, the show remains identical to Season 1; Dean Cain’s a poor Superman but a great Clark, his chemistry with Teri Hatcher remains strong, and the show still suffers from too much corniness. It’s an improvement on its predecessor, but a pretty negligible one.
