Crisis on Infinite Earths proves that good art can make up for poor storytelling, but only barely and only rarely.
Could xenomorph saliva work as a lubricant, though?
I'd like zombies to go back to their Haitian Vodun roots. Mindless shells under the absolute command of a powerful witchdoctor are better than rotting flesh-eaters any day of the week

I read a preview that basically gives away the end of the arc and I'm pretty sure it's gruesome as hell if I have it right.Wolfman said:
^^ I have been reading the Batgirl issues of this story arc. The last page of Batgirl #17 was pretty gruesome. The story concludes in this weeks Batman #17. I think I may know what you mean. If so....yeah..what ?
*POTENTIAL SPOILER*
It seems like the Joker is going to serve him Alfred's corpse on a plate.
*END SPOILER*
I can't quite remember what the last film I watched was. I think it might have been Superman and the Mole-Men.
This meme has become so very undead.
My reaction can be summed up with three letters and one punctuation mark.
WTF?
I see Padme isn't a candidate on the list. Good for you!

But yes, this would be the among the dumbest ideas ever, along with Yaddle, midichlorians, Boba Fett as a kid, and cg clone troopers.
I used to care.
Yes, it is as stupid as it looks.
Well, that was an adaptation. Plus, I never read it. =P
Abrams strikes me as a slightly above average director. He can coax good performances out his cast, but his films are rather pedestrian from a visual point of view.
Ah, well, there are plenty of worse choices they could have gone with. I just hope the story's decent and that there're new lightsaber colours.
I downloaded a copy and gave it a look-over awhile ago. It was in Spanish/Italian/Portugese, though, so I couldn't actually read it, per se, and can't really give an informed opinion on it.
That said, its obviously the introductory chapter in a longer storyline and not a complete, self-contained story in and of itself. I personally do not go for the decompressed, six+ issue storyline virus crippling modern comics, so I'm personally glad I never got the chance to waste the money buying it.
Things About the Silver Age Superman Comics I Like
* Multicoloured kryptonite
* The exotic locales on Krypton (Jewel Mountains, Scarlet Jungle, etc.)
* The Fortress of Solitude
* Kara Zor-El Supergirl
Things About the Silver Age Superman Comics I'm Indifferent Towards
* The bottle city of Kandor
* Super-genius criminal Lex Luthor
* Phantom Zone criminals
Things About the Silver Age Superman Comics I Hate
*Everything not mentioned above
I hate it when beautiful cover art is marred by big, ugly, distracting barcodes and captions.
Yes, he is. He transcends all possible universes and breaks every physical law.
Short answer: no
Long answer: hell no

Vader routinely says "The Force is with _", a practically meaningless statement considering that according to the PT, the Force is simply a certain concentration of organisms in a person's blood.
Without the midi-chlorians, life could not exist, and we would have no knowledge of the Force. They continually speak to us, telling us the will of the Force.

WRONG CAPTION.
That it's not ironic makes it ironic.
^And this is why the human race is not long for this world.
