^That's certainly an awkwardly written (Or should I say typed?) statement.
I heard that J. Michael Straczynski pitched the idea for a reboot of TOS to Paramount some years back, and I can't help but wonder how it would have turned out if they had gone through with making it*.
*Still probably better than everything I've read about Abramstrek.
If I had the money, I'd be blind from alcohol poisoning by now.
What about Vader's saber? Shouldn't his be candy-coloured as well?
Frankly, I'd like to see a Star Wars vs. Star Trek site that was run by someone who liked both franchises equally. That way I'd know there's little to no bias colouring their conclusions. Unfortunately, most of the sites devoted to the debate seem to go pro-Wars or pro-Trek.

Sorry but they stated lazers can't pass through deflector shields and the Star Wars ships can't fight at lightspeed or faster and some of those number are way off.
I don't think Star Wars lasers are literal lasers. They travel slower than light and, except in the case of the Death Stars, they come in the form of bolts or bursts rather than beams.
Regardless, though, I wouldn't take the word of anything found on stardestroyer.net at face value. Michael Wong's got a less-than-subtle contempt for the Star Trek franchise and it blatantly shows; you can't trust his "facts" to be unbiased.
^A part of me want's to say it might have something to do with Rebecca Black.

And how many book series have continued long after an author's death? It's too much of a cash cow for publishers to let go of.
to be fair, a lot of the time the books by the new author are not as good as those by the original.
Which reminds me -- after I finish reading all the original Dune novels, I'm going to avoid the Brian Herbert/Kevin J. Anderson sequels/prequels like the plague.
^It looks like he has a ball gag in his mouth, which only brings unpleasant images to mind.
^I wish they had made him the Inquisitor instead of Mr. Corduroy Face.

You know, if I wanted people to buy my books, I don't think I'd be saying f*** you to them.To be fair, this is probably the 100000th time he'd been asked "Will you finish the books before you die, man who is only 65 and in good health who has been writing for 45 years?"
Fifty or so years ago, this probably would have been cause for concern. These days, though, 65 is the new 45*.
*Unless you're my parents; the opposite seems to have been the truth in their case.

Ah, Planet of Twilight ... I really don't remember much of that book. I know I liked the parts with Leia, was largely bored with Luke's roll, and found the subplot with Han, Lando, and Daala confusing and an insult to my intelligence, but beyond that I can't recall much of the storyline at all; all I know for sure is that it solidified my hatred for Daala.
I wish I had kept a list of all the books I read from 1998-2004. I remember enjoying a lot of the books I read in those years -- and I'd love to re-read them to see how I'd feel about them now -- but I don't recall the titles of most of them; all I can remember are vague plot details, and those usually aren't enough to narrow down my search.

As far as I have heard we all know from Carrie Fisher that her hairstyles where made up from scratch on hear head daily for the movie.
Why do some people continue to claim that such hairstyles are absolutely and physically impossible to do?
I can give one answer and one answer only to this question of yours.
I don't know.
I think it's sad that such a badly drawn cover such as this
was allowed onto an officially-licensed product.
Seriously, this reminds me of a bad Photoshop job. Did the people who gave this cover their stamp of approval not recognize that the proportions of her face are too damn big for her head?

No, no, it's "Thank the torpedoes".

Wait -- what were we talking about again?
