I will agree with you that Bingo seems to lack tact. Last spring/summer, I mentioned that a number of my female cats had lost litters of kittens; his response was less than sensitive.

I'll bet not a single one of them ever criticized Lucas for trying to bury the OOT, and what he did was a million times worse than what Disney did to the EU; at least the old EU's still being published, which is more than can be said for the OOT at this time.
Frankly, if this is how they react to something so innocuous -- if they choose to refer to stories they ostensibly love as being a waste of time and money just because they aren't "real" anymore -- then they deserve to feel as miserable as they do.

But FWIW, I've gone ahead and deleted the video. The quality was rather lousy; I only created it to denigrate the stupid song with the blonde, which had gotten stuck in my head yesterday and wouldn't go away.
As for your last suggestion, it's a nice idea, but I don't know if I can do it; making mashups is something I've never been successful at.
