How about division?
Okay, okay. A thousand times, then.
Perhaps because they’re all puppet-minions of the Luciferians?
(double $#%@^&@)
In a universe where they have anti-gravity, artificial gravity, FTL travel, etc., I don’t think feats of telekinesis prove the existence of an all-powerful Force controlling everything. If I were a skeptic in the SW Universe, I could always explain TK away as the product of some sophisticated magnetic/gravitational/what have you technology.
I think there’s another, simpler explanation for why Han believes in the Force: He’s close friends with Luke and he doesn’t believe his friend’s a liar/fraud.
^This. A million times THIS.
Ooh, nice thread!
“I made the Kessel run in less than twelve turns at Albuquerque.”
“I don’t know where you get your delusions, laserbrain.”
“Chewie, we’re home.”
"This is home!"
I have met Noman Zilch.
the Force Awakens and Rebels and the new Expanded Universe are canon.
There is no canon. Canon is a lie. All that exist are a myriad of fictional stories and personal taste.
I don’t understand how anyone could watch Brad Dourif’s performance in that film and come away with “meh” as a response.
Yeah, and thanks to Paramuck, we may now never get to see the entire thing.
Yes, that danger is a distinct possibility.
Oh, well, if it happens, it happens. I’m already proficient at ignoring uninspired fare; I’ll just toss 'em out with the rest of the pointless crap.
David Lynch’s “Dune”
*sigh* Another one I forgot to mention.
“Big Trouble in Little China”
…
“Exorcist III”
Wait – what? Those movies are generally considered bad?!
^You catch on pretty quick.
Dogma led me to believe that god was Alanis Mourissette. Is that not the case?
Who the hell is Alanis Mourissette?
Movies I really like :
Star Trek : The Motion Picture is my favourite Trek movie.
Ah, yes, add this one to my list, too.
[JEDIT]
I also forgot to mention Superman III. Out of all four of Reeve’s Superman films, it’s the only one I honestly like.
Oh man, any world created by Philip K. Dick is a damn good world to want to explore and it keeps you thinking about it.
That goes without saying (or at least it should).
Still, I don’t think I’ll ever watch the film adaptation of Radio Free Albemuth ever again, Alanis Morissette notwithstanding.
Bought a used copy of TESB (GOUT version) off of Amazon a couple weeks back.
Something about…and its use of analogies is quite… charming.
You ain’t seen nothin’ yet, buddy-boy.
Do Christmas tv specials count as movies?
I consider them short films, so …
Exorcist II: The Heretic
And that’s all I can think of at this time.
'Cause God is genderless – duh.
I’m going to make the same three resolutions I make every year:
Find God
Find a girl
Find happiness
I doubt I’ll be able to fulfill a one.
