I’ll take “troll” for $500, Alex.

there is nothing interesting, with exceptions.
PARADOX!
I second that nomination.
Want to nominate any particular thread which catches your loathing for worst thread of all time? Mention it here! And if any of us aren’t too lazy, perhaps we can even hold a vote at year’s end to award one spectacularly awful thread Worst Thread of the Year!
To kick things off, I nominate “George Lucas commentary’s say’s Luke has the potential to become the most powerful Jedi like his father.”.
He’d be a level 30 Meta-chlorine Mage, duh.
I kept thinking whether or not his midichlorian count was equal or higher than Anakin.
That depends on how much pot his midi-chlorians smoke.
I wonder how many stars would be in Star Wars if Lucas had decided to place more emphasis on the stars rather than on the wars.
I think I’m going to take a long break from General Star Wars Discussion.
With the creation of this thread, I’m very tempted to follow suit.
It is quite interesting that Luke, like Anakin has the potential to become really powerful.
I am left awestruck by your quite novel and revolutionary analysis.
Wow really?
Oh, quite. Just reading the title of this thread leaves me with the nigh-hallucinatory euthoric notion that I have seen the very face of God Themself.

I think Bingo’s description is the most apt.
I’m sorry, I just don’t think his acting is anything spectacular. As far as I’m concerned, he’s pretty much average and overrated.
Oh, and…
…Bridges delivered that line better. To be precise: he delivered that whole film better.
Shouldn’t you be watching Mask of the Phantasm?
Non-sequitur!
This is the silliest debate I’ve ever read.
Imagine the prequels, but inverted.
I blame the Mayans. They had the concept of zero but they didn’t bother to conceive of transatlantic sailing; if they had, the number would been introduced to the Old World sooner and the Gregorian calendar would have a year zero today.
I’d prefer cotton and normal fabrics personally, like they had up till the 80’s versions.
Likewise. I’m dead tired of the rubber Batsuits.
Well, John Byrne was at the top of his game illustration-wise when he pencilled Man of Steel, and I liked most of the ideas he brought to the table for the post-Crisis Superman, but the guy’s a largely mediocre writer, so his execution of those ideas were very middling; it was only after he left the Superman comics and other, better writers took over that –
Oh, wait – I forgot we’re talking about the movie. Sorry, still don’t want to see it.
You deserve to be crucified to a cross of corn for this sucky thread.
If it means more Gorn, then absolutely.
I honestly lose respect for any established actor who participates in a modern remake.
I’m sure they’re disappointed.
Semble raisonnable.
“Modern remake” as in “a remake set in the modern day instead of the original period”?
I think you know the answer to that question.
I honestly wasn’t sure what he meant by modern.
“Modern” = “made in the late '90s-present”
I mean, I didn’t lose respect for Jeff Bridges when he starred in the remake of True Grit, because it was superior to the original film adaptation (and really anything else starring John Wayne, for that matter).
I don’t consider alternate film adaptations remakes.

"Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th, Part VIII" cute.
Awww …
