This film is so odd. It’s coherent, and I actually really liked it. Honestly, I think the only thing wrong with it was how low a budget it was forced under. I definitely recommend giving it a watch if you like comic books/comic book movies.
Certainly better than that lame movie with the bleached blonde Hispanic with blue contact lenses.

It wasn’t binge drinking so much as it was drinking an entire 375 ml bottle of Southern Comfort in one sitting and then eating a big supper right away. Usually I only drink half a bottle – which is usually enough to get me loaded without leaving me sick or with a hangover – but this time I got carried away with myself.
You don’t have to worry about my drinking too much, though. Since my father and sister are the resident drunks around these parts, wasting money on the stuff every single day, I’ve decided to go months between drinks so I can have spending money on things which matter a helluva lot more to me (like DVDs, books, etc.).

I vomited then got flu-like symptoms after a bout of heavy drinking last night. I guess my stomach just wasn’t ready to handle 119 grams of sugar after that.
I don’t think it’s a good idea to drink a can of Pepsi and two cans of Coke the day after a bad night of drinking.

Exactly. It was in the summer of '08 that I actively decided to try putting her behind me and moving on. Dozens of life’s subsequent little disappointments combined with strong nostalgia for the past ended up making that too hard for me in the end.
