The Dream of the Giant Fractal Woodlouse.
Time

Had a dream were I met two different, equally vivacious women and got romantically involved with them both. I was ready and willing to see them both at the same time – informing neither of the of the other’s existence, of course. Regardless, one of the girls found out about the other and gave me an ultimatum to choose between them. As I liked them both equally, I don’t want to have to choose between them. Then I woke up.

The dream gave me a good pretty good idea for a sci-fi story, actually, and I’ve already figured out an ending: Replace myself with a mad scientist proxy, and have him stick the two girls in a Fly-type transporter, thus resolving the love triangle by merging them into a single woman.

I have a question. Will an all-regions Blu-ray disc work in a North American Blu-ray player if it’s in PAL format?

The main feature ought to. HD codecs are not PAL or NTSC. Only the SD bonus features may be PAL. I have a region hacked LG Blu Ray player that plays PAL DVD’s without any issues. I really need to find a European BD to try out on it one of these days.

Alright, thanks for the info. 😃

Your Opinion on Me

I don’t hate you or wish you ill, but I wish you posted about half as much. You post too many stupid, meaningless, bandwagony posts. Every thing that comes up you have to have a response to, whether you actually have anything meaningful to add or not. Somebody could say anything on any topic and be guaranteed to get a response from you whether you actually have anything to add or not.

This is a complaint raised against you multiple times a day by multiple members and you just refuse to see it.

No one whose been on the forum for barely two months should have almost 2500 posts.

Seconded.

What's the Weather Like Where You Live?
Time

It was very sunny and (too) warm for most of the day today, then the clouds rolled in a couple hours ago and we got ourselves a big, heavy rainstorm.

It’s actually been unusually wet and cool this month. An Okanagan July is usually pretty hot and dry – temperatures usually stay in and around the low-to-mid 30s (Celsius, that is), rarely dropping beneath the high 20s. This year, though, virtually every day has been a mix of sun and cloud, often rainy, with the temperatures pretty much staying in the mid 20s. I honestly can’t recall a time when July was ever this cool.

I suppose it’s too much to hope this nice weather pattern will continue into August, though.
