I have gone and added Warb’s rules from his own failed “Politics 2” thread to the opening post. In there is this specific rule:
No ridiculous doom saying (like all non-Trump supporters will be rounded up and executed)
If frevious continues with his schtick here and I catch him, I will report him.
Does this mean my countdown is now against thread rules? If so, just tell me and I will stop. I will also edit the posts if necessary

Not to take away from Ian McDiarmid’s work in Jedi, deliciously wicked as it was, I sometimes find his emperor a little too obviously evil in the overall context of where the story was coming from. It would have been rather interesting to see the final showdown as more a battle of wits, illusion and manipulation with a slightly charming, non-cackling Emperor. Ironically, he gets closer to this in the prequels before he gets electrifried (in an otherwise painfully dull trilogy).

I think that the obsessed prequel fans are starting to become a thing of the past. I’m not saying that people don’t still like the prequels, but the people who think that they are beautiful masterpieces and believe that the original trilogy was a prophetic follow-up to the prequels made 20 years in advance are starting to fade away.
I actually think they’ve grown in number since Disney bought Star Wars.
