This is the first of two sequels I plan on writing to the Stargate remake I finished working on some months back. The plan is to base this screenplay very, very loosely on the tie-in novel Stargate: Rebellion written by Bill McCay, but nothing’s set in stone at this point, so that plan may change as I develop it.

What follows is literally all I’ve written thus far.

Honestly, this movie is my last go-round with the New Continuity - having been lukewarm about TFA and completely disappointed by Rogue One and any of the new canon novels I’ve read (exception: Lost Stars). If “The Last Jedi” is anything less than amazing, I’m out. I’ll stick with the OT and the 1990s EU stuff that I enjoy.

Rest assured, aside from Luke’s snazzy black outfit and green lightsaber, I love nothing about ROTJ.

Somehow I doubt the size of the GFFA was ever clarified in either the films or TCW.

But let’s be honest. Lucasfilm gives the novelizations lip service and lip service only, ignoring them in favour of EU schlock whenever they can. That’s what they did before they gave the EU its new paint job; that’s what they’re still doing.
