I’ll be going into the seminary
Are you planning on joining the clergy, or is this for academic purposes?
Since I no longer have a copy of my “laser-background-with-X-ray-specs” avatar – and don’t feel like recreating it – I just grabbed this old snapshot and rendered it in monochrome.
Too lazy even to commit to my laziness. Whatever will become of me?
Describe it? Maybe one of us’ll find it familiar and recall which movie it corresponds to.
That sounds awful, although it seems like it would make it easier to eat healthier…?
Makes me wish I had a less robust palate.
The rest of my family doesn’t go to bed until around midnight. The time they’re asleep – without all their arguing and asinine chittering and general noisemaking – is the only time of day where I feel I have some peace of mind. I take advantage of the tranquility by staying up 'til 3:00 or thereabouts.
I mean AFAIK Duracell is eastern Canada which means it should have been mid-afternoon, right? Why would he stay up all night for a mid-afternoon event?
Western Canada, actually. The eclipse began here around 9:10 and ended around 11:45. I usually wake shortly before or after 12.
Perhaps you’re thinking of Homicidal?
ALLOL!
They’re poetry. They rhyme.
I am selfish.
So, you have accepted the truth.
Mark’s Down On Your Syntax said:
That’s 25 years of weight off my shoulders but the question now is, dare I watch it again?!
I dare say you do.
I take it you saw the pile of shit that’s masquerading as a Dark Tower movie?
Nope. I watched the epic in sloppy silliness that was Lost in Space last night, which made me reflect on all the movies Goldsman’s written in the past; I realized almost none of them have received positive reception.
I stayed up all night so I wouldn’t miss it. Then I decided around 8:00 that it wouldn’t hurt to rest my eyes for twenty minutes or so. When I woke up around 10:50ish, I’d missed essentially the whole thing.
My sister caught it, though. She decided to look directly at the sun, thinking her sunglasses were protection enough. She told me it left her seeing spots. My sister is a Darwin Award winner in the making.
How is it Akiva Goldsman still has a career?
Laser rifle non-functioning? What a gyp!
“I love you, wife.”
This does not signify completion.
Fuck you.
SUSTAINED
The Treasure of the Sierra Madre or that cornball Lost in Space movie, whichever one I’m in the mood to watch first.
A Jabba movie would interest me even less than the Han one does.
Since a few folks about these parts have been clamouring for me to adopt an avatar which is more representative of my true-to-life self, I’ve gone and done so.
Since I no longer have a copy of my “laser-background-with-X-ray-specs” avatar – and don’t feel like recreating it – I just grabbed this old snapshot and rendered it in monochrome.
I’m walking down a city street alone at night and then I’m suddenly surrounded by people with body parts in their mouths. I then realize that those are my body parts their eating, but it’s too late because I’m already gone.
Please tell me you quoted this line in your dream.
Hutts are supposed to be hermaphrodites, but post Disney that might no longer be the case.
You’re right; it isn’t. Honestly that bit of Legends canon always seemed like a fig-leaf to me anyways.
*imagines Adam & Eve wearing miniature Hutts over nether regions*
*shudders*
I run with Beru being Anakin’s sister in my canon, too. The idea that she she might have been an untrained Force-sensitive never once crossed my mind, though.
To paraphrase a quote from The Simpsons: “It’s an intriguing theory. I may have to steal it.”
