So Americans don’t have a monopoly on bad plastic surgery after all.

CLAIMS are the new TRUTH.

I’m of the opinion that space-based sci-fi TV shows which don’t have the budget to realize convincing alien designs on a regular basis shouldn’t use aliens; they should all just go the Dune route and focus on humans and human offshoots.
it’s a real shame the music is now part of the Legends continuity
Now that’s a ludicrous notion. Music transcends such petty concepts as “continuity”.
The circle is now complete?
Korriban is a planet steeped in the dark side of the Force, is home to the ghosts of many powerful Dark Lords of the Sith, and has been used as the seat of power by various Sith empires and organizations, yet at no point in the thousands of years of struggle with the Sith did the Republic or Jedi ever consider nuking the planet to oblivion.
It’s almost like Korriban was originally conceived as just a mausoleum world without any strategic significance to the Sith – a world neither the Jedi nor the Republic ever had any great knowledge of.
As if I needed anymore reasons to dislike Robin. . . .
This brings to mind a question I’ve been sitting on for awhile: Is it alright for books to be “updated” years after they were written (to reflect additions/alterations made to the wider canon; revise dated technological/pop cultural references; etc.) even if they’re just silly kids’/young adult books which weren’t the greatest pieces of literature to begin with?
ROTJ was my favourite SW film for a long time, but now not only is it my least favourite entry in the OT, I’m a hair’s breadth away from hating the movie altogether. Yet I’m okay if someone else loves it; I can respect their opinion even if I don’t share it.
I wouldn’t be predisposed to forgiving such an emotionally fickle person myself, so I’m gonna have to agree with the two posts above.
I would like to nominate the threads HanziG’s sock posted that were absoloutely filled to the brim with hentai.
^I knew that gif was going to surface eventually. 😉
If it’s sweet and strong, I’ll drink it. Beer is neither, so I avoid it*.
*Plus I often get congested if I drink the stuff too fast.
Warb certainly needs to invest in a sarcasm detector.
Since he probably won’t take the initiative, I nominate this thread on Warbler’s behalf:

One thing I didn’t like about The Force Awakens was how Carrie Fisher seemed to have had one of those surgeries on her face that makes it impossible to open one’s mouth more than a slit nor produce normal mouth/cheek-related facial expressions. Her upper lip is nearly incapable of movement.
classy post. you know, people age.
In 40 years, I’d love to walk up to all the idiots that say these kinds of things, gasp and say “Damn! You look like shit! What happened? Drugs? Surgery? DAMN!”
Why should I be chastized for wishing that Leia’s mouth/lips in TFA actually inflected? She looks like she’s trying not to move her mouth when she talks; nor do her lips curve down when she frowns or up when she smiles, and it bothers me.
^ALLOL!
“I should’ve been honest with you from the start. I wasn’t born to show people the error of their ways; I was born to murder the world. You can still help me do that if you want.”
Who made you?

I honestly considered making this reply myself, but figured it might be construed the wrong way.
