The “asshole” at the end did it for me.
I find it hard to continuously argue about things I don’t like about the SW Universe. I may go into a brief state of intense antipathy once I come to hate something, but before too long, that antipathy fades to apathy and then I just don’t care about the offending subject anymore. I guess I’m just too good at divorcing myself from official canon; it’s difficult to stay enraged at stories/characterization/worldbuilding I don’t consider “true”.

I’m just so sick of Super Hero Films/TV shows. Were you have to watch say. The avengers. I don’t want to see thor but i have to See thor to understand The avengers. But then i need to watch this show to understand what they are talking about in that movie. Something like that.
Ah, that. That I understand and sympathize with. It’s one of the reasons I’ve give up on the cinematic side of the MCU.
The revival was sad indeed. I didn’t even bother with this last season.
Out of the entire revival, there’re only five episodes I consider rewatchable. That’s less than the number from Season 7, which I formerly considered the show’s worst season. A sad effort indeed.
You like season 9 more than season 7? Bold statement.
Season 9 isn’t great, but Doggett’s character and the absence of episodes like “First Person Shooter” and “Fight Club” do much to make it a more watchable season in mine eyes.
Maybe someday Disney can buy Google and rule the world.

I’ll go with when they acquired Marvel. That’s when they got incredibly obnoxious to me, but I suppose they’ve been evil for longer than that.
I place the birth of modern Disney after the end of the Disney Renaissance, when they stopped making traditionally animated films and started producing pop tarts like Miley Cyrus.

I think the Marvel acquisition happened a couple years after her big debut, but yeah, essentially around the same time.
