Trump still has to talk
This thread is now terrifying.
And not in a sexy way.
I choose this one because it shows a lot of insanity.
Both are dystopias which by definition rely on being set in a real world that could have once been Earth. A twisted version of our world. Star Wars… is Star Wars. You know?
I like to believe Coruscant was once an Earth-duplicate in its ancient past, like that planet from the TOS episode “Miri”. So for my money, THX 1138 and the original three Indiana Jones films all take place in the SW Galaxy.
They are random.
I feel like wearing something Tales of the Jedi-inspired.

Eh, it doesn’t look good as an avatar. I’m gonna go with Thulsa Doom instead.

Malá is going to Malá
Well, this is stupid.
The comments claiming that it’s because the effects are old are even more painful.
Indeed.
Well, this is stupid.

I’ts alright.
To be fair to the greedy companies who don’t care about human life, if developments of cures aren’t profitable they won’t do it so we need to make sure there are incentives.
"Mankind is their incentive!"
I didn’t know goldfish were lethal.
They have great PR.
The Avalanches - ‘Frontier Psychiatrist’
Has to be one of my favorite music videos now.
Anyone who doesn’t like this video is simply subhuman.
And I am reminded just how wasted Christopher Lee was in the prequels.
This.
Everything was in place to make Dooku a deep, nuanced antivillain, then Lucas had to fuck it all to hell with that “Lord Tyranus” reveal. From there Dooku was irrevocably ruined and a perfect actor demoted to glorified extra.
I ate a whole bag of goldfish crackers. It’s like I want to die.
To be absolutely honest? For me, the most disappointing aspect of the ST is that it isn’t about Luke rebuilding the Jedi Order. But for that to have worked, it would’ve had to been shot in the late '80s-early '90s, when Hamill, Fisher, Ford, etc. were still young enough to believably portray post-war/reconstruction era versions of their characters. The 2010s were just too late to execute a proper ST.
Most satisfying aspect? Daisy Ridley. She’s cute and a capable actress; I will watch her career with great interest.
