Fables and parables — The Fisherman and His Wife, for one instance — relate stories containing truths of the human condition. But these truths are expressed through symbolism and allegory — they aren’t historical accounts — so they’re not factual.
I watched the first episode, didn’t care for the tone or characterization, won’t watch further.

Nothing interesting enough to encourage me to take a bus trip, fork over cash, and suffer through the potential ruckus of other moviegoers to see a movie I may end up not caring for.

As a kid, my parents never took me or my sister to the movies, and there was no one else in my life who could’ve taken me instead.
