Just about every series was striving for vivid color once the networks began regular color broadcasting in 1966, and NBC parent RCA wanted to sell a lot of shiny new color tv’s. Developing the supporting cast simply wasn’t a thing in 1960’s tv. We’re lucky the Enterprise even had the impression of a constant crew.

Well obviously, but there are tonnes of “well known” songs from when I was little or even from before my birth that I know really well.

That song was probably popular for a period of six years at most. I doubt anyone who isn’t a Millennial even remembers it.

I had a dream I described The Room to my mother and sister; they both got a kick out of my descriptions of the plot and Tommy Wiseau’s persona. I know in real life, though, they’d never be able to enjoy The Room; “so bad it’s good” is an utterly foreign concept to them.

I find this claim astonishing.

The family’s too unclean and antisocial to eat inside restaurants; it’s drive-thru or bust. We only went to one that one time because my maternal grandfather was visiting.
