Goodbye. Love each other, love yourselves.
I hope you’re not thinking what I think you’re thinking.

I think it’s interesting there is a thread on SW jumping the shark or/and over-saturation in the same reality that has Marvel just releasing its what?..umpteenth flick about superheroes.
Don’t get me started on the MCU.

do people hate dex’s diner’s scene because dex himself is a big pile of cgi shit or are there other reasons?
How about Ewan McGregors terrible reshoot beard?
Oh, and the wig.
It’s not even noticeable. General Dodonna’s the only one in SW with a distractingly fake beard.
I assume you meant “General Madine”.
Anyone who thinks that Star Wars has only now in 2018 “jumped the shark” has selective memory loss, and is forgetting the years 1999 and 2002 when Jar Jar Binks and a flippy jumpy Yoda graced out eyeballs, respectively.
I think its jumped multiple sharks.
Nope. The best it ever been was 21 May 1980-24 May 1983.
Must be difficult, shoving Cheetos under your helmet to eat them.
Brown-eyed cats are rare.
Does anyone even use “nuke the fridge” anymore?

I first read this novel back in 2006/07. I remember finding it underwhelming, but couldn’t remember why. Having re-read almost half the book, it’s coming back to me. Little’s quite talented at infusing creepy/disturbing imagery in his descriptions, but these characters are weak and the strange happenings which I assume are meant to instill dread in the reader mostly come off as absurd and tedious. Consider this one weeded.
I’ve been meaning to write something but starting is daunting.
Believe me, starting is easy. Coming up with an ending is easy, too. It’s everything between that’s a nightmare.
I keep forgetting that droid waitress was in a SW movie. Like, it seems like something out of this.
Or this.
True be told, the diner never bothered me. I dislike the droid waitress, but the rest I can live with. And Dex himself is a likable character, shitty CG nature notwithstanding.
I can’t imagine Trump doing any of that.
A day back from the hospital, my mother came down with pneumonia. Now she’s back in the hospital, back in intensive care, with a breathing tube back down her throat, which is probably what caused the infection in the first place.
Screenplays I recall having read:

It’s a convenient dog whistle.
Prom Night- One of the “classic” slasher movies that came out in the wake of Halloween. Carpenter was my film teacher’s favorite punching bag, and I confess that Halloween has never been a favorite of mine, but I appreciate it more the more knockoffs I watch. Prom Night is slow, boring, and even at 94 minutes, feels way too long. No interesting characters, no suspense, no style, flat direction, simply dreadful and dull.
