Pulling the dvd at the moment at home. I printed off the cover and it has those white borders. Anyway of getting a cover that is already "cropped"? Can't wait to check this edit out. If anyone needs the SciFi edit on dvd, let me know because I have a dvd5 of it.

At this point, I'm thinking of taking your finished dvd and the Harmony Gold version and doing a hybrid cut almost. Just an idea I had earlier tonight

Toledo- I was thinking of preserving the Harmony Gold version as well (have an avi of it someplace which is clean), but I hated what they did to Worsel. They also had alternate audio in there, so it still might be worth doing (the parts as they wait for Bill to come home has new audio of Kim and Kris NOT in the Streamline dub). I still an hunting down the tv series complitation movie in any format.

As for SpaceShake, that's where I got my script from. I have the Lumivision LD (that's the one I won off ebay), and would kill for the jap LD. You suck. ^_~

Sounds like you've done more work then I've been able to on this so far. Widescreen = niiiice. I"m envious.

Think I have everything listed by Rev too (got them from Ripplin). As a matter of fact, those discs are going to be a x-mas present to a friend of mine in the ADR industry. ^_^

There are some HD caps in avi that are 700mb compressed. If it's a 45 mins tv show, the standard xvid is normally 350 and the HD is 700. <-- that is just for comparison, btw. If it's a movie in avi at 700mb, then it's just a standard rip.

Screens look good. colors look a tad washed, but it's understandable. Plus, I think that's the feel of the color stuff too. I just want to see this again period.

ok, since my buddy's raidZero drives decided to die on us, we had to wait for him to do his emergency build on his pc. Now that that is up and running, we'll hopefully get started on this yet again (stupid damn raidzero....).

It will happen the way I want it, I promise. I'm leaning towards both DL and SL, but we'll see.

Got my Fisherking from Reverand, and holy freakin ass crackers!!! This is gorgeous, and decked....I can't even go into how decked this thing is.

Can't wait for a finished version of Munchausen.

HD2DVD means that someone has capped an HD broadcast in true HD and converted it to dvd-video format. Depending on the cap, you can have awesome results. Most true HD caps can run from 4-16gig big, and alot of times alot more in it's raw format (I think AotC was close to 30 gig in it's original uncompressed format).

This HD cap was done on off of the HDMonsters channel I believe. That or Universal HD. I haven't watched it in a while so i'll have to check. I have a copy of the commercially released dvd, but I haven't opened it yet, so I don't have a comparison between DJ's version and the one out.

Sell? Sell = bad. If it wasn't DL, I'd just send you a copy, but I"m almost out of DL dvds. Perhaps someone can trade you for it or just send you a copy. But never ask for someone to sell you a copy.

With all the alternate footage in the RIC that is NOT in the Theatrical or Donner cuts, I think it is still a very viable version that should be out there.

I still have the original RIC 2SL dvd release, but I'm not sure what is and isn't allowed on here anymore.....

I own the r1 dvd and it's a horrid transfer. I need to hunt down the ld for it to see the difference, but it has to be better then the POS dvd I have of it.

As much as I'd love an official dvd release, part of me fears that it will be a horrid piece of gutterflange. That or they will reanimate things, ala the Lion King, or redub huge parts of the audio.....

Here's hoping we get the uncut unedited version.
