When I eventually burn the disc I will probably do that. For streaming via HDD to my Sony BR player, AC3 just seems to work better.
Ah i see now, in that case i would make an ac3 file from the pcm.
You can still remux the pcm with your new file from handbrake though.
Why not just mux the pcm from the 1080p with the 720 instead of making an ac3 from an aac?
Yep i have used magicyuv and it works great.
I saw that, i wonder how this will look.
I'll bet it's pfclean.

There's a 35mm transfer in the works? Does that have a separate thread?
Check out AMPS
I think it looks great Andrea, no need to match 100% to the dvd. Remember the 35mm is still happening, the scan is now complete. If any shots need replacing it can be taken from it. Or depending on what people think about the color timing on the 35mm could use that but i see you using the dvd or LD for that on most of it?
Nice to see you back here, we miss you :)
Yep the Bacta Tank is from the 16mm
Hey PDB your PMs filled up :)

In case anyone is interested:
I compared Matt_Stevens' synced laserdisc mono track with the new mono track included on the Shout! Factory Halloween box set release. The mono included on the new blu-ray is actually the original mix this time around (no fold-downs, unlike the 35th Anniversary), but it doesn't sound nearly as good as the LD audio -- too much noise reduction.
I didn't know Matt_Stevens synced the LD audio?
Ah ok thanks Griff I thought there had to be more.
I love the preview trailer, great job Matt!
Does it happen in the other 2 movies any where?
So i noticed on at least Raiders there's text overlay, is there any more of this in any of the 3 movies?
I have those on my to get list i still haven't asked PDB for them yet.
PM PDB although he's extremely busy.
Which ones are you looking for?
Sorry to hear that Andrea i would have figured by now it was all taken care of, bummer. :(
Good to know you at least have them for a future preservation projects.
Did you ever get you monitor back so you can continue with what projects you've started already Andrea?
Oh nice i didn't see the whole hdtv trilogy just the 1080i mpeg2 captures, i see it now though just had to search correctly. :)
I don't believe they're on that site anymore.
Whoops i take that back :) Although if they are being seeded is another question.
got ya thanks
