Zipped archives are your friend, or could be.

If we could just get the raw green screen’d footage we’d be able to better salvage the mess that is RotS.

I think you could rotoscope the emperor out of the scene where he finds Anakin and use that? How is that done?
Using a paint program such as Gimp or Photoshop to digitally paint out or mask the other shot on top of another.
Wow, where has this footage been hiding? Is this on any official release?
The jump from the lava fall to the ship departure is too soon to me. I wonder if you could imply your idea of him going down to the shore line and retrieving Anakin’s lightsaber and show him chared and seemingly dead on the shore. Then you could salvage the sad look he has. I think you could rotoscope the emperor out of the scene where he finds Anakin and use that?
This is unique as far as I’ve seen. The only real issue I see is that Anakin’s lightsaber went over the lava fall with him.
I personally have an issue with the fact that they would have died from being that close to lava period. Ridiculous decision by Lucas, imho.
Official releases aren’t fanedits.
It’s a feathered iris effect that is included in most every NLE, even free NLE’s. What NLE are you using?
^not wise to ask for an official released product…have you tried eBay?
I currently dont have the capabilities to change the crawl in any way or change end credits. But i wish!
Here are two free options:

And now to think of it…you can really use those shots of Luke contacting Leia to make him do anything across the universe with the force in this movie. The sequence works perfectly for that purpose. The question is where it can be best used and I gotta say, this is a great option.
Luke throwing the ship through hyperspace at Snoke’s ship? That would remove Haldo, which would be a plus for me.
Totally unique and well executed concept there. Makes perhaps the worst scene in the movie have some grounded reasoning while showing the master of the force that Luke has become.
the frame rate is messed up in the last Jedi part.
What source and settings did you use? They both should rip at 23.976fps unless you had encoded first at a different fps.
Those are good, I have to admit. Already paid $10 for a Rise of the Empire crawl, though, so I’m stickin’ with it. 😉 Here’s where I got the crawl:

You do know that jackpumpkinhead and myself both made free blender templates that you could have saved your credits with, right?
Have you thought about using something less iconic for the music? Perhaps from the EU games?
The Ren v Finn cut doesn’t work for me. How do you explain him not taking the saber or going after Rey?
I’m not a fan of the episode III music during the Obi-Wan v Vader duel. The video editing was done well, but the energy and style of those added scenes don’t match the original source.
The thread being back on the front page, I take this opportunity to ask if the audio track in glorious uncompressed bluray format is now corrected ?
Sorry Mala. Life has not allowed for this. I will let you know.
Also, the link should be working again.
All of these details are so specific. Did you take a pen and pad into the movie with you or have you delved into the teachings of the dark side to gain your clairvoyance?
Ha, you’re right…oh well
The projection scene was stupid. Why? Because he didn’t project himself with the green saber, which is the best saber!
Nope.
- Cut “You can’t talk your way around this” " I don’t have to" in order to end the conversation in a stronger place “Some of us just decided to do something about it” Next scene we see of Jyn is her ‘doing something about it’
Well, to me she isn’t. She’s just getting her father. She still isn’t sold on the rebellion until after he is killed…by rebel bombs…yeah I’ve never understood that part.
How difficult would it be to replace one computer-generated alien with another computer-generated alien? Can it be done?
It wouldn’t be too hard to replace. Now, making it movie quality in terms of textures, animations, etc…that would be extremely difficult, to put it lightly. Dubbing is a more efficient approach. Change his voice and dialogue and suddenly he’s not Jar Jar anymore.
The new Vader line doesn’t make sense to me. How would it be a good thing to account for your failure to the Emperor?
Been following this for months on fanedit.org patiently waiting for a chance to see it but just found this thread! Is the MEGA file available yet? Got no Spleen
Thanks!
Check out my site in my signature to find how to get the edit 😉
Thank you LZ! Sorry I missed your message.
