I was a bit confused when Anakin stopped Mace.  You changed it so that he blocked Mace's lightsaber blade, but then Anakin immediately cut off his hand anyway.

And I thought it was funny how Anakin was still so late to get to the battle even though he came with him.  Obviously there wasn't much you could do about that...

I'm glad someone finally mentioned my opening title :) . It's actually nothing too fancy - I just used 'Pan&Scan' to move the text block down. At the end (when Palpy turns off the screen), I used the 'TV Simulator' plug-in to screw around with the horizontal sync, and faded it out.

PS: I did the same thing with something more risque...but I can't post that on YouTube...lol.

I had Ani block Mace's saber to create a connection with ROTJ. Basically Ani blocks Mace, waits a moment, and then swings up to 'dis-arm' him.

As far as Ani's late arrival to the party (even though he got a lift with Mace), you're right. Ani appears out of nowhere...but there was nothing I could really do with that. Maybe Mace told him to hang back, just in case things got nasty?

I made a video recently that kind of relates to this topic.

I made an edit of Anakin's turn, and I did some fancy editing of that part that you may find interesting, because I feel the same way about it as you do.

Another test clip. This one is a little rough: you can slightly hear the original music, but hey, I'm just messing around. :-)

You did a nice job with it. However, I don't think the music conveys the correct mood. It's as if the music to trying to take center stage, when  should only be the background. 

On a general note, I would have timed the music to climax a moment earlier.

That bit was sort of an experiment. The choice was to either show him getting onto the ship, or just have a jump-cut from Mace saying "We must move quickly...", to the ship taking off. If there is better footage of Ani (or someone who cna pass as Ani) getting on a ship, or something, I'll gladly use it instead.

However, the way I have it now, it sort of looks like he's jumping on at the last minute, before the pilot has a chance to abort the take-off.

I didn't add any silence before Palp saying "They don't trust you". What I did was cut the part before that where he doesn't say anything, and Ani says "I know there are things about the force that they're not telling me".

Could you rip some Grievous dialogue from "The Clone Wars"

I don't have "The Clone Wars" on DVD...yet, so obviously I can't rip it........and I haven't even seen it yet, either...lol

Actually, that's the only thing I wish I coul do more with. As it is, he basically from nowhere. 

Keeping the "You can't.  He must stand trial" line seems to undermine the awesome transition I talked about earlier. 

I was a bit torn with what you're talking about. But, I didn't want to hack up the movie too much...it would start to 'fall apart'. I do agree, however.

I don't think Samuel L. Jackson would approve of the "Wilhelm scream."

The "What have I done" line doesn't have very much power to it when we can't see Anakin actually saying it.

Again, seeing his face/reaction seemed a bit forced to me...in connection to watching him sit down, anyway.

Some of the dialogue alterations post Mace's death feel choppy.  I'm just going to assume that's because this is an early edit.

You're partially right. I wanted to tighten up the dialog, and cut out some of Palp's 'bellow-y' voice. 

I never bought that Anakin willingly went along with Palpatine

When Anakin says "Thank you...my master" after given his new 'Darth Vader' name, you can tell he's not entirely happy with Palps.

And, when he says, "Just help me save Padme's life", you can tell (now) that that's all he wants from him.

Your suggestions are welcome, and I'll try to made some of the edits/changes better.

I've uploaded a little re-edit/redux of Anakin's turn to the darkside that I've been tinkering with for the past few days.

I've mostly just tightened up the editing, but I think it works a bit better than Mr. Lucas' version. The one major change is that I TOTALLY cut the scene of Anakin 'thinking' (about wether-or-not to stop Mace Windu), and Padme 'worrying'. Note: The scene of Obi-Wan defeating General Grevious was only cut down to save time for YouTube.
