I've only been using that avatar after the forum software was changed. Before that I used one of the built-in 'Leia' avatars.
Before that, elsewhere on the 'net, I used another 'girl' that I made-up from scratch, using pics I found on Google, etc.. I started doing that on Yahoo, in early 2003, just for fun and to see what would happen.
Well, I just liked using her pic as my avatar (she's far better looking than I'll ever be) in the beginning, and then some people thought I was actually a chick, so then I eventually started using her as my alter-ego - sort of like a sock, but without another account.
Using female alter-egos isn't a new thing for me...but, that's a LONG story.
