It tickles me how supposed hardcore Star Wars fans like the above fellow enjoy only two movies--hell, very specific versions of two movies--in a franchise spanning nearly four decades. Makes you think.

I own and watch only one version of one of the films, which I saw at least once a week in the theater during the summer of 1977. I only saw the third and fourth films once each. I didn't bother with the last two pieces of shit. I Haven't seen any SEs, nor will I ever.

Yet I'm beyond excited and completely on-board with the seventh film now that Lucas is completely uninvolved.

Thoughts?

Again, and maybe I should have clarified, but I was making fun of the eternally pessimistic generalfrievous.

I beg your pardon! Watch where you're pointing that finger mister!

My apologies, you posted a second before I did.

I am, of course, making fun of generalfrievous.

And the special edition of Alien 3 is the second best movie in the Alien series.

*mic drop*

Anyways, I just saw Attack the Block for the first time and it was great, John Boyega especially. Can't wait to see what he does as Finn.

team negative1 - star wars 1977 - 35mm theatrical version (Released)

With Dailymotion, I recommend making an account and upgrading to the newer beta player. Then let the video load all the way through.

That being said, it would be great to see a clip without all that nasty compression. I bet there is a lot of detail there--I've certainly seen it in screencaps posted earlier in this thread--but it's difficult to see streaming and through all those artifacts.

Hmmm. The photo of Kylo Ren/Adam Driver in costume without a cyborg head seems to point more towards the speculation that the cyborg-headed guy holding Vader's mask in the production photo leaks is Luke.

Well Hamill said he grew out a "contractually obligated" beard, which could be a joke but he was sporting one for all of filming. It doesn't make sense that he'd go full cyborg and lose everything that makes him identifiable as a character.

Provided Abrams' version of the Sith go by the master and apprentice rule, perhaps cyborg dude is the master.
