Info: Project Jedi Archives
Time

Project Jedi Archives is a fan effort who’s goal is to catalogue every release of all the Star Wars films. The releases catalogued will be of any format with a suitable and credible reference used to provide evidence for said release. Any format such as VHS, Laserdisc, DVD, Blu-Ray, Digital HD, or any other such format is eligible for the catalogue. The catalogue will be released as a Google document, and will be continually updated as more releases are discovered. It will only include official releases. While DVD or Blu-Ray releases of fan reconstructions of the films such as the Despecialized Editions or Adywan’s Revisited Trilogy are superior to official releases, they will not be included so as to keep the catalogue comprehensive and readable. Contributions by members of OriginalTrilogy.com members will be accepted.

When you were introduced to Star Wars for the first time

Colson, about Episode III, I kind of disagree with you. While it certainly doesn’t reach the levels of the OT, it certainly far outclasses the other two prequels in terms of storytelling, pivotal moments, and even pacing. It is also better than your average typical science fiction film these days.

As for the GOUT, I enjoy the set, but I don’t love it. It is outclassed by the De-Ed, the Silver Screen Edition, and from what I can tell, the Legacy Edition. I still have it, and though the discs are scratched up, they play without error. I also bought the Blu-Ray, with Darth Vader as the cover of the Complete Saga, but that was before I knew about DESPECIALIZED.

Harmy's STAR WARS Despecialized Edition HD - V2.7 - MKV (Released)
Time

Harmy, I have a question about the future v3.0. I know that the current plans for that release are to upscale all three films to HD. But, as for the question, do you plan Mike Verta for some footage from his Legacy Edition Restoration, in order to incorporate it into that release? I know it might be a little too much to ask, since you have given so much to the community already, and on top of that, all the legal issues of Mike’s restoration, due to his proximity to the film industry. Just a small suggestion. Thanks for the consideration.

Harmy's Despecialized Star Wars 1977 - Color Adjustment Project for v2.7 (released)
Time

Guys, I am sorry for what I am about to post. I know this really isn’t the technical how-to/ help thread, but I couldn’t find one. I keep trying to download v2.7 on TEHPARADOX. The files are moved to FreeRapidDownloader, and they begin to download, but I keep running into errors on multiple files. I’ve tried exiting FRD, restarting the files, canceling and restarting. Heck, I’ve even deleted all the files twice and restarted so I wouldn’t have to encounter errors. Yet somehow they still pop up. Does anyone know how to fix this? If you do your help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance if you do.

I was just a little curious to see as to how the community’s members were introduced to the greatest science fiction franchise of all time. Me personally, I was introduced when my Dad bought me the 2008 OT box set containing the GOUT and those ugly 2004 Special Editions. I still have the GOUT, and I even watch it occasionally. As for the Special Editions, I think I threw them out. The GOUT is also the only version I watch to this day.
