He trades it off and it ends up in Maz’s possession. This is why the Skywalker blade calls to Rey, as her father rescued it from the Sith.

I liked your Jabba’s recolouring in Episode I, but as far as I remember, in Episode VI he had four fingers on each hand (one of which was a thumb) – if I’m not mistaken. 😀

I would like to ask if anyone has tried to fix how Obi-Wan looks in this scene as well?
Because as all the criticisms are correct about old Anakin (who needs to be de-aged), but personally I’m more annoyed by Obi-Wan’s gelled hair, which has nothing to do with his look in Episode II…

Apparently books contain a lot of stuff. I too originally thought they were just text and/or audio, but then I read the discussions here and on the other forum, and it turns out that the books contain text, audio (sounds, music, etc) and video (more dropped footage and scenes).

Otherwise, this scene has become super - as others I’m in favour of fixing Luke’s face, and also in one shot I thought there were more visible uncleaned scratches. But this is really great work of yours!

PS: As I wrote above, I’ll also be happy with a ‘special edition’ version (with all ‘extra craps’) of the scenes when they are completely ready 😃

I also like the new versions, but the old scenes with the old Indy are also favorites from back in the day. It’s nice to do partial montages of some episodes with the old Indy, like the episode about Jazz with Harrison Ford…

The main footage of the Jedi and Sith duel from one of the DVD documentaries is ready to go, however the second documentary video, which has deleted footage of the Naboo starfighters and some more of the duel (with Maul, Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon leaping to the upper walkway), is of significantly lower quality.

I’m seeing if other upscaling settings will get the image to look good, but for now this video isn’t worth sharing as it simply doesn’t look good.

Bobson Dugnutt in his expanded edition of TPM used these shots and I think they were of relatively good quality.

I took a look at the deleted scenes on the Blu-ray disc, and the quality is really good. Upscaling might make the images a bit sharper, but I don’t think that upscaling is really necessary for those scenes, as the image quality isn’t bad.

Further, if you intend to extract the deleted scenes from the blu-ray and they are 1080p quality, can I ask to send them to me?
I would like to use them in my extended cut of the film, which I have been wanting to make for a long time but don’t have the scenes in good quality.

I think there were 4 or 5 deleted scenes. I only had the movie on DVD, but it got damaged last year. I hope the quality of the scenes are better on blu-ray and upscaling is possible.

Phase3, it would be great if you consider upscaling the deleted scenes from The Clone Wars movie as well. 😃
