The only way he could get my total resect back was if he did an only OOT release somthing like this

Star Wars-
Remastered
Audio choice of mono/70mm/35mm/new 5.1 mix
crawl choice

Empire Strikes Back-
Remasterd
35mm and 70mm version on one disc via seamless branching
5.1 mix

Return Of The Jedi-
Remastered
Audio choice of 35mm/70mm/ 5.1 mix

I would be so happy if something like this was released, all in 16x9 format of course. One can dream though. But I think something like this will be in the 30th ann. boxset. I mean they just cleaned the prints last year agian.

If George did release a high quality OOT DVD, what is the worst that would happen?

For me, the worst that could happen is that it would only be included as part of some $300 boxset that I don't need or want.

No doubt this is what will one day happen.

Casual fans would not pay $100 or $200 just for the OOT--but they would pay $30 for a half-assed laserdisk transfer! The die hards get roped into buying this as well, thinking it may be the last time the films are avaialble, all the while having their appetite for a proper release even more whetted. Once the casual fans have had as much money pumped out of them as can be, and the die hards as well, it is time to really stick it to the die hards by releasing that $199 mega box with exclusive copies of a restored OOT, the rest of the box being 15 disks of PT and SE copies and supplements, with a giant Jar Jar head for a box.

Yes that is exactly what George will do. I wonder if he’ll have infomercials for it like they did for the Ultimate Matrix Collection? The set will include the following:

Star Wars (1977)
Empire Strikes Back (1980)
Return of the Jedi (1983)
Star Wars SE (1997)
Empire Strikes Back SE (1997)
Return of the Jedi SE (1997)
Star Wars SSE (2004)
Empire Strikes Back SSE (2004)
Return of the Jedi SSE (2004)
Star Wars Archival SSE Happy time +++ (2007)
Empire Strikes Back Archival SSE Happy time +++ (2007)
Return of the Jedi Archival SSE Happy time +++ (2007)
Star Wars Holiday Special 30th Anniversary “Original Vision” Edition (2008)
Clone Wars Vol. I (2003)
Clone Wars Vol. II (2003)
The Phantom Menace (1999)
Attack of the Clones (2002)
Revenge of the Sith (2005)
The Phantom Menace SE (2007)
Attack of the Clones SE (2007)
Revenge of the Sith SE (2007)
The Phantom Menace SSE “The version George really wanted to make, but his x was reminding him that he sucks” Edition featuring Darth Maul and his double antennae Walkie-Talkie (2009)
Attack of the Clones SSE “My morals keep changing and so my movies must as well” Edition featuring Nerf Walkie-Talkie-Sabers (2009)
Revenge of the Sith SSE “The version that solves the Sifo-Diyas mystery harped on by George” now with even more stupid Palps voice changes and crackling (2009)
The Full First and only Season of the Star Wars Live Action TV Show (2008)
Collectors Jar Jar Dildo
Altar to Baal (The Artist formerly known as George Lucas) Special Collectors Edition
The Definitive Baal Autobiography “How Art should be modified to suit the tastes of changing viewers” or “Nothing is timeless” by Baal (The Artist formerly known as George Lucas)

All for the low low price of……..One Million Dollars…er..um..I mean One Hundred Billion Dollars.

What a bunch of crap!

So remaster them. "We were unable to put the extraordinaty amount of time..." No. You are unwilling. There is a difference.

I agree. I mean Robert Haress (SP?) is willing to give all his time to search for good quality prints and peice them together. Remaster them and give them a decent sound mix. I mean what the hell LFL, he is offering to do it at what a little more than 50 grand a pop.

Yes please do. I think we have most of the ideas for ep. I in place. But remeber we HAVE to have to match Trooperman's ep. 2 and 3. So we need to make the CGI less obvious by tweaking color. And give it a more OT feel by changing displays to look older and stuff like that.

Will any of the deleted scenes be used? And are we still trying to put Dooku in the Jedi room via hologram, just sitting in the backround?

I know. That statement=total bullshit. They remastered them between 1993-1995, copy the new negatives to a SE master and made there changes.

HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE

Who's doing the score for the next film?

And yes i have to say, besides the glossed over bits that can be cleared up in the sequel with a quick line about brother wands connecting, I love Goblet of fire because it's the Empire Strikes Back of the series. Sexual tension is strong, villains return, and a character is lost in the end. And Adigitalman's edit makes it even better.

Above all that, what I truly enjoy is how perfectly Dan plays harry in this one. He's just exactly what Hamill is to Luke Skywalker I think. I just can't imagine any other actor as harry potter anymore. It's like the planets that aligned the day the three leads in star wars were cast re-aligned when harry potter was cast because each of the lead kids in these movies is absolutely perfect for their part. I'm seriously expecting Dan to become an excellent voice actor, Rupert to become a huge movie star in movies like Arizona Smith and the Party of five, and Emma to become a hollywood writer. Hey... it's possible.

My favorite thing about GOF is Harry's moments with Cho. I just love seeing him play those moments so genuinely it's as if he's not even acting. That Cho is cutie... i can't wait to see more of those two in the next.

I agree 100%

But rumor has it, there's something in the works (vaguely) along the same lines as this project that may be released within the next couple months. That's all I'll say for now. Keep your eyes open, huh?

What did the Prequel Trilogy need?
Time
I definately agree that Anakin should have been 19.
AOTC should have been the clone wars series and the romance of Ankina and Padme but actually good. And He should have already been falling to the Dark side in that one.

*sigh* there is just so much. Padme should have lived on Alderan not Naboo. And she shouldn't have died in ROTS. Qui-Gon should have been Mace and not have died. Yoda should have never touched a lightsaber-he was too powerful for that kind of stuff.

In the hands of a more competent director, a faithful to the letter approach may have looked better.

I mean Columbus did do good to start off the movies but I'm glad he is not in it anymore. I don't think he is good at adapting things. I mean he did a good job with RENT but it could have been so much better. Well anyways back on topic to HP
