I like the shake though, it gives it a film quality which I love *puts love emotion here*, I jsut wish it was a proper transfer

I agree, the shake gives the film atmosphere. Also, I like the little pieces of grit here and there, because it is something you don't see in movies any more. But the OOT has that, and I am glad that I can get a piece of film history that will last longer than my VHS's will.

I don't like dirrty grit but I love marks that were always in the film. Like whats on a rough homemade 16mm film or something like that.

I guess that's what I was "afraid" of.
Why would the death star be blowing any of these planets (especially Tatoonie) to bits?
If any planet I could could see this happening with it's Naboo.
Now, I'm not saying we couldn't fit a new plot element into this edit to make this idea work...
...because I DO like this idea of more than one death star....but, again, why would we have death stars attacking these specific planets?

Maybe one upon Naboo because the Naboo people want to secretly join and help the rebellion and Papiltine found out. And maybe have the 3rd one be in the early stages of construction and be close to the one at Endor and when that one blows up it blows the other one up also from the impact??..

I definately think that we should wait for the .83 edition to come out first. To see whats in it and see if we can replicate some of the brillant ideas. I would love to see Lukes saber be blue for the ranch edit like in the .83 edit but I don't know what everyone else thinks.

Hmm maybe the other two Death Star could be a threat to Naboo, Mustafar, Uptopia, or even Tatooine.

I think that we need to coax Adywan to be our fx guy, he is doing amaing things for his edit, and he is color correcting.

I think I'm going out on a far limb but for ROTJ what if there is more than one Death Star?
I got the idea from the older Revenge scripts. If there is any way to pull this off that would be brillant. I think that if Adywan helped with that (or became our fx guy) that we could do it. At the msot 3 different death stars. I think that if the Allicance didn't know aobut the other 2 till right before the attack that would add a lot of tension to the film.

Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin dead
September 04, 2006 02:14pm

He was killed in a freak accident in Cairns, police sources said. It is understood he was killed by a sting-ray barb that went through his chest.
He was swimming off the Low Isles at Port Douglas filming an underwater documentary and that's when it occured.

Ambulance officers confirmed they attended a reef fatality this morning at Batt Reef off Port Douglas.

STAR WARS: EP IV 2004 REVISITED ADYWAN *1080p HD VERSION NOW IN PRODUCTION

Amazing project, Adywan. It's wonderful to see this kind of top-notch stuff happening on the boards.

As for all these suggested alterations, it all really comes down to how much you want to change the saga. Take the Emperor in ANH for example; what I've had in mind for this scene is moving the Vader/Emperor conversation from ESB (with appropriate changes) and placing it at the end of ANH, just before the awards ceremony. That would require an establishing shot of Vader's TIE approaching his Star Destroyer, and you've already made something along those lines. So it's things like that I'm wondering are they even worth mentioning or totally out of the question (for you). The now-on-hiatus Starkiller Ranch thread has a multitude of ideas of this nature, which I'd be happy to go into detail with you on should you wish to dicuss them.

Again, it's encouraging to see someone who has the time and devotion to put so much work into a project like this. Yours is certainly one of the most exciting on the board!

PS. You have a PM.

Maybe this could be the base of the Starkillers episode 4 edit *hmm*. If we use this then there would only be a couple more thigns to change such as a few plot points, and audio changes.
I'm probably thinking to far into the future though lol.

It is not selectable. And has been pointed out before, its a reproduction of the crawl.

I got these discs yesterday and they look pretty bad. Not that much better than the LDs themselves, and in some cases worse because of the ditizization. As a friend of mine commented, "I'm glad I still have my VHS."

Just wait until Boris reads this post....

LMFAO!!!!!!
