Well, technically, the place that he told Kenobi that was in his own cafe...

Sorry, just being a smartass... I would have to look at the DVD to find the real answer, and I can't be bothered right now...

Stupidest Prequal complaints

Yes it has. But it can backfire when not used properly.

For example: The CGI Jabba in the SE of ANH. I am not really against showing Jabba, but in 1997 CGI just wasn't advanced enough, and It makes the scene very distracting, especially when Han starts clipping Jabba. (After he walks behind him. He leans toward the actor, but it is too far for the Jabba model.)

CGI free's filmakers up but it can be overused. There was no reason to have the droids in Dexter's Cafe in AotC made of CGI. And Yoda being CGI is pointlessly dis-continuous. Yoda's skin isn't supposed to be that shiny, and he isn't supposed to be able to move that much.
And it probably wouldn't bother anybody if he had been CG from the begginning, (If the technology existed in '79) but the Puppets look so different it's hard not to notice.

It wasn't --but neither were the names of Alaya Secura, Mon Mothma, Oola, Bossk, ect.

But those are all official, and not made up by the EU. I suppose anything not created specifically by the EU (Like Mara Jade, Thrawn, ect)
is fair game.

But EU stuff is on the Starwars Website, so I don't understand why it isn't fair game.

As for my question..

Hmm..

Q.This pertains to an earlier question that was never answered completely correctly: A planet mentioned in the movies we overlooked earlier. Where did Dexter Jetster tell Kenobi he recognized the dart Jango usued to assassinate the Changling? He said he was prospecting there.

Nintendo insists that the DS won't be called "Gameboy" Anything. But it is Backward compatible with GB games.. so.. Yeah.

And nobody says you need to buy both systems to take advantage of the connectivity. Just buy both for the games and if you want, take advantage of the connectivity. I never/rarely link my GBA to my 'Cube.

And If you don't want to spend 70-100 dollars for a GBA you can get the $50 gameboy player, which plugs into the bottom of the gamecube.

Happy 5th Anniversary Phantom Menace!

Actually, I don't remember the first time I saw the Phantom Menace. The second time I saw it was Father's day 1999. All I remember is I really liked it. And that day, my mother had just told us of her decision to shut down the family business (a pizza restaraunt) and I remember that when Shmi was talking about things changing, I was thinking "yeah.. yu'aint kidding"

I watched TMP again last week.

I still can't figure out why it is so reviled.

The GBA Link will link Metroid Prime to Metroid Fusion. If you beat Fusion and link them, you get to play the original Metroid on the GC.

If you beat Prime, you get to play it with the Fusion suit from MF.

And if you link Zero Mission with Fusion, you can unlock the Samus image galleries in Fusion.

And to anybody who doesnt have a GBA.. you really oughta get one. It freakin' rules! And it is cheaper than a PS2.

Ah, Bossk. Yes it is much closer.. But it is not the majority, is it?

Good work, Starkiller.
