But I was wrong!

Unfortunately, I wore out the tapes so much, don't even remember seeing it in the theater, except for Jedi.
It was the last night the theater was showing it, at the 9PM night show. My brother fell asleep, but I was determined to see the end.
Good times.

Besides, I agree that the OT is better than the PT. But the PT is much better than you're giving it credit for.
No not really...they started out ok with TPM but that last piece of shit called Attack of the Clones should not even be considered a Star Wars movie.....300 million box office with just about every critic giving it no more than 2 stars....bad acting, bad casting, terrible story....a love story with NO CHEMISTRY between the two...too much information for the length of the film.
And I fear Episode III is going to go the same way....if III is at least as good as or better than TPM then it might have a chance to save this trilogy...but if it is on par with Attack then you might as well flush this whole PT down the toilet...along with the OT that he has fucked up just to fit the PT!
Wow. You don't meet many people who think TMP was better than Attack of the Clones.

The scenes in the senate, I enjoyed because it shows how Palpatine cruelly manipulated the circumstances, and lied through his teeth in the presence of Jedi, using the very non-humans that he hated, to gain power and become ruler of the galaxy. He starts multiple Civil Wars in a period of thirteen years, in which millions are killed, all for his own ambition.

I can't stand Lucas myself, but am reasonable enough to realize that not everything in the SE or the prequels is a mistake.
And for the record, I have never been intoxicated, wasted, stoned, or any other synonim for chemically impared, and I make my opinions of my own free will.
Anywho. Back to beautiful women...

Jessica Alba in the new, probably awful, Fantastic Four movie.

First of all, Matrix Revolutions is far from putrid, but I guess it would be hard to convince any jaded cynic such as yourself of that. Why should I bother arguing with someone with an enourmous obcenity in their sig? You lose all your credibilty by insulting a movie you've never seen with a childish manipulation of its name. How can I argue with somenone like that.
Second, I"VE NOT SEEN CASABLANCA. I was not making a judgment on it's quality, it simply doesn't interest me as much as a computer world battle for the the survival of the human race. And I'm sure it is a better movie than TM-Rev, but I really don't care about it.

Anyway, I would like to point out that taxation disputes have caused many wars in earth's history, such as the American War for Indpendence. It was also part of the list of causes for the American Civil War.

I mean you almost implied that The Matrix Revolutions is a bad movie.
Which, now that I think about it is something I would expect from someone who hates the prequels as much as you seem to.

Wait. That was a bad example.

But what I'm saying is that the midichlorians don't make the Force any less mysterious. It still has it's own will,
,and things without cells, such as rocks and droids exist in it. Qui-gon Jinn was obvioulsy mistaken when he asserted that life coluld not exist without midichlorians, as we exist, and The Yuzzhan Vong exist with out them. (Which Ultimately serves to make the Force more mysterious.)
I think it is more like that midichlorians channel the Force into a person, not that they make-up the Force.

Unless the SFX are either really (Super stardestroyer crash) bad or, a character themselves (Jabba the CG Hutt), or the continuity error is enormous, like Lukes greensaber in the Falcon in ANH.

But I have said from the first time I learned that there were people who hated the SE: Yes, some of the changes are unessisarry, but NONE of them "ruin" the movie.
The changes that I like.
The pan back to see Mos Eisly.
Han stepping on Jabba's tail. It almost makes up for Greedo shooting first. Almost...
The new shots for the Battle of Yavin. Then again, the old one may be better. I've never seen it.
The cleaned up speeder fight on Hoth
I liked the Bespin Exterior shots, but some of them aren't good, like Leia in the window.
General cleaning up of the ancient effects. I doubt I could watch the original version without be distracted by how fake the space battles looked compariatively.
