SPOILER WARNING

The campaing of Halo 2, so far doesn't seem as focused as that of Halo, as you switch between Master Chief and Covanent persprctives. It is all a matter of personal taste, though, because some people find mixing the perspectives cool. But I would rather play as Master Chief than the 'Arbiter' any day. Also, I have as of yet to encounter any Floodies, which created some of the most intense moments of the first game. I really hope they show up later.

END SPOILER

Video Game I.D. Help, Please!..............

Well, there is the Junk Pile and The train hopping, but Boba Fett was in a different stage.

I believe that the game which he seeks is Shadows of the Empire for the N64. It was a fairly generic and altogether unbalanced action/platformer following Dash Rendar, one of Han Solo's old buddies, as he fought the Empire and Black Sun behind the scenes.

It is most remembered for its amazing(for its time) Hoth level, which as served as the template for the Hoth Levels in many subsequent games. It was sort of fun, but some of the missions are mind-numbinly easy, and others have stupidly hard segments. The junk-pile fight with IG-88 is one of the hardest Boss batles in any N64 game.

Expanded Universe Novel Discussion.

Yeah. There's a lot of 'talk' episodes in StarTrek, where problems are solved diplomatically... Plus, for ever Elementary Dear Data, there was a Best of Both Worlds to balance it.

But that isn't what I was talking about. There are literally pages of monologues in this book I gave up on reading about coups, queens, presidents, congresses, and various other things that normal people only reference passingly in conversation.

I swear the most interesting scene so far was a baseball game at the beginning of the second chapter...
AND I HATE BASEBALL!!!!!

Sorry, I ain't played metal arms.

Clank doesn't do much. For most of the game, he sits on your back, letting you use the helicopter or rocket boost, depending on which you have equipped. (These let you long jump and highjump, as well as float slowly. Basically they give you Mario powers)

There are, however, some missions where clank gets his own challenges alone, and can control up to four smaller robots Pikmin-style. In GC and UYA, there are also 'Giant Clank' missions involving smashing lunar cities. Fun stuff.

You serious?

You don't know what you've been missing. All three are excellent, and IMO the best reasons to own a PS2. Choice between GTA and R&C, and I'll go with the Lombax and Robot.

Imagine if Mario 64 stared a Lombax, was linear and not about collecting stars, but about collecting usable weapons. Now imagine that it had a humorous Sci-Fi story, litereally thousands of things to blow up, and suberb voiceovers. The first game is more about exploration for the first half, and the second half is a lot about shooting stuff. The second one is almost strait-up action with occasional platforming, and UYA is basically more of the same.

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

I figured someone would have to start this thread eventually, so why not add to my tally while I'm at it.

Thanks giving is probably my first or second favortie holiday, because it isn't over-comerciallized (like every-other holiday humanity celebrates) and becaue I get five days off of school to eat meat, and do whatever the crap I want as long as it isn't immoral or illiegal. Or impossible. Or unreasonable. Or any combination thereof...

Plus I have been blessed with one of the few decent families left in the world. And I live in America.. which is really good... I mean theres 20:1 odds that any given person will not be born in America...
