Ep3 Theatrical poster
Time
You can't say that for sure. AoTC was a lot better than TMP, and RotS will finally have Vader and the story we've been wanting told for 28 years now.

But... I'm not sure if it will follow the OT pattern and have the middle movie as the best though. If that's the case then I might be a little worried. But still the poster is good.

Episode III box office potential

I'm not kidding myself. I just think all the political manipulations and interactions are cool and make Palps seem really devious.

The fact that the OT lacks that element doesn't make them worse movies, though, and because of the cast and dialouge they turn out to be much better movies. Also, I've read the AoTC Novelization... It doesn't really add all that much... But it does make the scene where Yoda hears QuiGon's voice much more comprehensible.

One of the hardest things in making a Green Lantern film would be which Green Lantern do you go with, since there have been like four of them.

1) Alan Scott (the original Golden Age GL; blonde guy, AKA: the Sentinel)
2) Hal Jordan (second GL from the Silver Age; brown hair, looked like Paul Newman, arguably the most famous GL)
3) John Stewart (third GL, black guy)
4) Kyle Rayner (fourth GL, dark hair; I last heard he was muscled out by John Stewart because John was being featured on the animated Justice League series and next I hear he'll be muscled out by the return of Hal Jordan)

Logically you'd go with the most current one, but Hollywood doesn't always obey logic [COUGH::Catwoman::COUGH]

Because of the Justice League cartoon, I think Stewart is currently the most famous Green Lantern. Plus IMO he's a really likeable character, so if Hollywood does what is logical,( not a good track record as Solo Vs Jones said) then Stewart would be good for the movie version.

Then again, with Hollywood's tendencies to randomly change the races of characters (like Kingpin or Catwoman), we'll probably end up with a Japanese green lantern named Ken Toriyama.

StarTrek Movie 11 is a go...

I'll see it if it looks interesting enough.

And I definitely won't go just because of one abysmal review; IGN gave Nemesis a 0/5 Stars just because there was no explanation for why Worf and Wes Crusher rejoined starfleet.

I hate the way that movies with a lot of action or a conservative message almost never win.

Was Spiderman 2 (My favorite film of last year, second to the Incredibles) even nominated to win Best Picture? Nope. Was it a great movie? Yeah, but the Academy could care less.

Hey, Ric: I have absolutely no idea because I've only ever had one paying job, so I can't really relate to that... But I can relate to the dilemma of changing or not.

*sigh* How can we take his anti-hate speach seriously when he uses language like that?

Plus, that's one song. What about the songs about taking pills; about killing people? Rap is full of that, and even if Emenim has a few supposedly positive songs, it doesn't change that most of the genre is full of crap. Not only that, but it is not just the message but the general beat of rap that grates on me for some reason.

It is partially a matter of morality to me, but also one of simple personal taste.
