Added the Magnetic Video VHS releases of Day the Earth Stood Still, Desert Fox and The Longest Day to my collection. Day the Earth Stood Still is a copy from 1977, one of the first 50 VHS tapes released.

I added The Tales of Hoffmann (Criterion Laserdisc) to my collection.
I got an 8/16mm dual projector and a 16mm copy of Three Little Bruins, a 1940s documentary short film.
During the flash sale, I got Ace in the Hole, 3 Fantastic Journeys by Karel Zeman and the Kennedy Films of Robert Drew and Associates (Kennedy is DVD, rest are Blu-Ray)
Lawrence of Arabia. This is what an epic should be. I loved the cinematography and Peter O’Toole’s performance. I watched it on the Criterion CAV Laserdisc.

I have added the Criterion Laserdisc of Lawrence of Arabia (CAV).
I got the older CBS/FOX Special Widescreen Edition just so that the cover doesn’t spoil the twist like this late release does.
I also got Paths of Glory and Wing Commander on DIVX.
Watched Paths of Glory with the commentary. Ebert said that 99 out of 100 directors would give the falsely accused a reprieve, but not Kubrick.
I have now added Fear and Desire, thus completing my Kubrick Collection
The editdroid Laserdisc’s alternate take with “Obi-Wan would have told you, had I let him” would help make the saga more consistent, but would require using the Special Widescreen Edition LD for the OT to blend in better.

I also forgot a 1995 THX Widescreen VHS Trilogy.
I recently acquired in a lot the Fullscreen DVD of Attack of the Clones and the Empire of Dreams bonus disc.
There’s also a 65 GBP Blu-Ray set that doesn’t include the 4K discs, but has everything else in the 27 disc set.
I have added a Laserdisc of The Man in the Grey Flannel Suit (unavailable on Blu-Ray) and a 3D Blu-Ray of Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.
I love that Chewie got his medal. Adywan should remove Chewie’s medal from ANH:R HD as it feels more earned in this film.
The Japanese Laserdisc of the Phantom Menace is the theatrical cut.
Level 8 for me.
