This is truly the definitive version. I cannot WAIT to see this as the sharpening in the 4k version was so disappointing to me. 😦

Not sure if anyone is interested, but I upscaled CC’s concert in 4K and replaced the audio with one that will easily be decoded into surround sound. If you’re interested, hit me up for a link.
I searched high and low for some the holiday specials that were never released in 4K due to Apple buying the rights (Happy New Year, Charlie Brown - Be My Valentine, Charlie Brown - and It’s the Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown).
Finally fed up, I discovered ‘CapCut’ did a good job in upscaling the 720/HD copies I had into 4K. For those that don’t want an AppleTV+ subscription, you will want to check this out. I am not that technical so I am not going to be the one you ask to make multiple edits to this as a forewarning, although I do welcome your comments.

Is there a version that reduces the excessive grain/spots? I like the 4K disc quality except for the tint.
The recent 4K print that showed up very recently is fantastic. A large improvement over the older LPP scan.

Hey there, there’s some music on YouTube I like and the only surround sound mix I know of is on YouTube. The video sadly does not have the surround sound mix so I wanted to extract the surround sound mix from YouTube and overlay it onto the concert video. Anyone know how to accurately extract the surround sound mix from YouTube?
I personally love the EE more than the TE, but not FOTR as much. The only EE scenes I would keep is Sam and Frodo seeing the Elves travel to Valinor, and Galadriel’s gift giving. Maybe Isildor being shot full of arrows. All the rest mess with the pacing and are minor. scenes with no bearing on anything.

I am interested, how does the Upscale process compare to the real 4K releases regarding the process followed?
Level of Detail is as good if not better than the 4k-Release (Mainly because there is no DNR applied). You might say that the 4k-Bluray looks sharper but that’s only because PJ and his team added digital sharpness on the official release. The Version from DrDre looks more natural imo.
Color grading comes down to taste. The 4k-Bluray might be more neutral but I don’t know if you even want that in a fantasy movie ^^ Either way: This Upscale my favorite version of the Movie and the one I will keep on watching.
I might be editing the movies and remove some scenes from the extended cut which I don’t like.
I personally would love to see to see the theatrical version with the Elves leaving Rivendell and Gabriel’s gift giving scene kept in.
I would never rush art; but i am visiting New Zealand (including Hobbiton and Mount Sunday) in January, and i would love to take this with me to watch in the evenings! lol

Hello, I am trying to find a way to download the more difficult to find Peanuts specials in 4K (as Apple TV+ is now monopolizing them). They used to be for sale on Vudu and iTunes in 4K so I’m hoping they’re still available for download somewhere. Specifically, I am looking for the holiday specials not available for purchase in physical or digital any longer (New Years, Valentine’s Day, and the Easter specials). Could anyone point me in the right direction, if they’re available?
I think it’s harder now than it used to be. I search for the torrents but seem to always end up with malware or something of the sort. Any direction would be greatly appreciated.
