The First Half is terrific and Fantastic! No Problems.

The Second Half is Basically looking around. SPOOKY ALIEN! Looking around… SPOOKY ALIEN! And that’s the rest of the film pretty much.

I love Alien, but for all of its sophisticated production design and lavish budget, it’s essentially just a haunted house movie in space, albeit a really, really good one.

Maybe everything else is just a haunted space ship movie on Earth.

Only exception to your PotA ratings is that I think Escape is the most watchable sequel. But not by much.

I like plenty of non theatrical. It’s when one is hidden that I’m bothered. Though Alien and especially Aliens should be watched in their original form.

I prefer gluten free apples.

I get that you can’t have Zeb killing him with his bare hands, but Sabine could’ve Raising Arizona’d him with a real grenade instead of a paint bomb, or at the very least they could have brought him back to the rebels. Drawing goofy shit on him like a passed out college kid and SENDING HIM BACK TO THE EMPIRE just isn’t something I can swallow, especially after what just went down.

Poseidon Adventure is a great movie. The DVD has been rotting on my bookcase for several years. Maybe it’s time to pull it out again.
