Because I don’t want to still be going to school when I’m in my 30s.
I bet Frink is Ralph Brown.
These generic cough drops aren’t working. Sometimes it’s best to spring the extra buck for name brand.
Now that’s a name I’ve not heard in a long time.
I’m presently not happy with the life path I’m on (career path, where I live, etc.). I’m young and in a position to make a change, but I also feel this will be my last chance to do so, so I’m afraid of doing something I’ll regret. But also afraid that I might regret inaction later too. I need to make a decision and I’m stressed out about it.
People who have a problem with space Leia also think 2001 is a farce, right?
Lol, I always get a kick when a movie wins best picture but doesn’t win best picture in its genre.
(Wonder Woman beat out TLJ for best sci-fi/fantasy)
And my God, Logan was entertaining and all, but to say Hugh Jackman outperformed Gary Oldman’s portrayal of Churchill is comical.
No. Rian made Leia a flying Lazarus wizard and ruined Star Wars. Don’t you remember?
Man hates it when trailer gives away entire premise of movie
I thought the whales were dumb when they were introduced. But now that it’s been established that this connection with animals is Ezra’s force m-o, I think it works. For instance, I never minded the wolves’ role in this season. Though the light speed whale travel is still a bit too much.

preservation ≠ restoration
It seems likely that the new show will be about [redacted]. At first I was pretty disappointed by this, mainly because I want the new show to be about all new characters (and one of these existing ones I don’t care much for). But then I had the thought, what if this isn’t going to be the only new show? I’d be pretty okay with this concept if we had an additional animated show running alongside it.
By [redacted] do you mean Ezra?
I haven’t had peanut butter in years

2001: A Space Odyssey
Haven’t seen this since I was a child. What really struck me about it is how little happens in it, despite that is a 2.5 hour movie. World building is done with excruciating finesse and detail. Minutes go by without a single word being uttered, without any advancement of the story beyond the initial frames of the scene.
Yet one is never bored. Every frame is visually stunning. One is constantly engaged. The ending is an incredibly emotional experience, despite the fact one has no idea what is going on.
A true masterpiece.
Source code Blu was <$5 on Amazon. So I’ll give it a watch this week. I won’t be out much if it sucks.
Yeah, after writing this, I actually went and looked this up. Source Code is the only one I’m remotely interested in seeing.
Moon (2009)
A really enjoyable, interesting, and realistic science fiction film. A masterpiece? No. But a really great directorial debut. I’m definitely going to try and seek out what Duncan Jones has done since.
Also, available on Netflix. If not for that, I probably would never have heard of, let alone seen this movie.
I never watched it. If Jack Black’s in it, and it ain’t The Cable Guy, I assume it’s bad and avoid it.
Have you seen School of Rock?
Hilarious. and really clever.
Movies need more memorable soundtracks.
And some movies need more memorable movies.
They really got all Interstellar with the timeline in that last one. Any ideas where REDACTED ended up?
I would presume back where and when Ezra pulled her from, except Vader already left. Fast forward to Ezra’s present, maybe hanging low somewhere else in the Galaxy.
Guilty as charged.
Napoleon Dynamite > Nacho Libre
Equivalent of saying Conquest of the Planet of the Apes > Battle For the Planet of the Apes

MOON (2009) – Thumbs up!
No words Fantastic!ALIEN - (1979) - Thumbs up!
The First Half is terrific and Fantastic! No Problems.
The Second Half is Basically looking around. SPOOKY ALIEN! Looking around… SPOOKY ALIEN! And that’s the rest of the film pretty much.
I love Alien, but for all of its sophisticated production design and lavish budget, it’s essentially just a haunted house movie in space, albeit a really, really good one.
Maybe everything else is just a haunted space ship movie on Earth.
