But it’d be like the Sopranos!

Then a therapist of some kind?
You can take both, staggering your doses for most constant effect.

I’m sorry
look better
no
have a higher resolution
yes
There’s more to it than resolution. Optics etc.
More like they’re taunting George. 😉
That too. Especially “revisionist edits.” I bet 90+% of the time that phrase is used to describe film, it’s people talking about the original Star Wars Trilogy.
I was going to watch The Last Jedi tonight. F*** UPS Mail Innovations.
If only Star Wars were treated with so much care…
2001: A Space Odyssey to have limited 70mm run for 50th anniversary
For the first time since the original release, this 70mm print was struck from new printing elements made from the original camera negative. This is a true photochemical film recreation. There are no digital tricks, remastered effects, or revisionist edits.
It’s almost as if they’re taunting us. It’s a sad world in which clarifications like this even need to be said.
Ian McDiarmid returned to portray the Emperor in the final season of rebels.
This is Bob. Bob says hi.
I did that. More like $10, but it also came with A Clockwork Orange and The Shining. Though I’d see a film-print projection if I had the chance.
But she flew! Digitally erasing the umbrella for the Blu-Ray was an obvious face-saving move for Rian.
I imagine some of these bloopers could be used.
Even just the silly faces inserted into scenes as reaction shots.
Is that the East St. Louis Toodle-oo playing in the background?
I wish Papa Murphy’s sold by the slice. I’m not hungry enough to eat a whole pie.
The give you a triangle-shaped piece of crust, some sauce, and some cheese, and you make it yourself.
I hope the sauce comes in one of those little ketchup packets. A plastic cup would be too convenient.
Well yes, but obviously the packet is also triangle shaped.
So that it contains only half as much and I need to go back to get more? They’re so smart! It’s good to get out of the house!

Lol
I can’t even believe their re-releasing it on BD.
I doubt that’s a re-release on 4K…
But it is a rerelease of a really shitty movie. How it got the 4K treatment will forever remain a mystery.
Because the restorationists at Lucasfilm are bored and needed a project to kill the time.
What subject :p
So I’m on vacation and I wont be back until Friday, so that’s when I’m picking up the Last Jedi 4k blu-ray. To anyone that has it, how good is the 4k, hdr, dolby vision, or dolby atmos? I wanted to hear it from star wars fans (like myself) rather than 4k blu-ray reviewers because my opinions usually are the same as you guys.
my setup is only HDR10 and 5.1
Peasant.
Yes
Except people who say that TLJ provides a radical new interpretation of Luke are wrong. Luke has plenty moments of skepticism in the OT. He’s also 35 years older than when we last saw him, and he’s seen a lot. It’s reasonable that a character could develop during that time.
In fact, if Luke were precisely as we left him in ROTJ, that would be less believable.
Also, given the plot of TFA, how did people not see this coming? Why is it suddenly shocking with TLJ that Luke isn’t a gun-ho optimist let’s fight the FO! Infinite Jedi!
Why bother rewatching a movie that is merely ‘watchable’?
My copy won’t be delivered until Friday, which is probably a good thing.
