Thanks man. This happened five years ago now, but every now and again I see something that jogs the memory, and it feels as fresh as it was then. I couldn’t imagine the constant pain his parents and brother must experience.

Sick, dying woman tells jedi to take her daughter to her friend on Alderaan. Jedi looks at star maps and decides it’s too far. Leaves kid with her mom’s old robot servant.

I watched an episode of TV yesterday that depicted an attempted suicide. The character was about the same age as an old friend who wasn’t so fortunate as to survive his attempt. Though I don’t know for certain why my friend took his own life, I can’t help but think it was for similar reasons. It brought back this horrible memory and now I’m feeling pretty sad.
