FINALLY watching the GOUT Trilogy properly

The GOUT is just a low-resolution early 90s master from Lucasfilm (so, ostensibly, from earlier generation sources like the O-neg or separation masters). The SSE is based on release prints, I believe. They’re entirely different.

The GOUT transfers were done in 1993 from interpositives struck from the o-neg in 1985.

^ 2-1B’s mouth always reminded me of a vintage drive in movie speaker

At first I was like “that looks nothing like a drive-in movie speaker.” Then I remembered that the only exposure I’ve had to drive in movie speakers is from the Flinstone’s intro. There’s a drive in active near where I grew up, but they have have short-range FM now.

Where should Lucasfilm go after Episode IX?

If they do take a five year break they should get rid of Kathleen, restore majority of the EU, promote Pablo as creative director, redo the prequels and restore and release the OUT. If anyone has a problem with this please pm me instead of derailing the thread.

Why, by responding directly to something YOU posted, would we be derailing the thread?

I have no idea what 1/1/2 or 3/1/2 means.

Ever heard of measurements?

Don’t be such a smart ass. The way you wrote it is unconventional, if not wrong.
What you meant, I presume, is 1-1/2 and 3-1/2.

I didn’t recognize what you wrote as such until just now, either.

But also, it’s a rank order, so why use half-measures anyway? That’s also unconventional, adding confusion.

Why should I conform to your conventions? That and people do use halves in lists, ala Lion King, Lion King 1/1/2 and Lion King 2. Usually, you see point number but I decided to do the unexpected.

I’m not telling you to conform. I’m telling you not to be a smart ass when you don’t and people don’t understand you.

Also, lion king 1-1/2 is called such because it was made after Lion King 2 was already out.
