Trying to decide whether or not to tell math that I used sexy sarcastically to articulate that the CGI looked like shit, or if I should keep letting him embarrass himself.
Neither of us knows the standards of beauty of that species, so who can say if it’s attractive or not.
To that species it would be.
To that species it would be.
By that logic all straight male humans would find this sexy:

Muppets vs CG. I’ll take CG.
I know, right? CG is so sexy:

He also liked Luke screaming like the emperer.
[facepalm]
EMPEROR!!!
Emporer Frink strikes again.
I agree.
I hope you’re being sarcastic, but for some reason I doubt you are.
JEDIT: I mean, there’s not even a shadow!
I guess George wanted to step more towards realism when he redid the CG.
And he did a great job!

I wish we still could generate user titles…
You could always make it your signature :p
*Seamless
Thanks Emporer Frink, but let’s not let a minor typo get in the way of this important project.
Can one of the moderators move this to the fan edit subforum? I’m really hoping someone with the time and know-how can get an edit out with the shadow added in, preferably a BD with seemless branching so I can watch the original version of the scene too.
“redempting”
You are aware that there’s an actual word you could have used thus allowing you to eschew the quotes.
Yeah that’s definitely the most bothersome aspect of that scene.
and no one would complain about that.
I’d complain if the original wasn’t also available.
You could always get a vcr for about 20 dollars on ebay. Might not come with a remote, but vcr’s dont have as many features as a dvd anyway. You mostly need to pause it and then rewind it when it’s done. You can get up to rewind it.
Cool
I want to burn Despecialized to DL DVD9s to play in my BD player. What I have gathered from other sources is that I can achieve 720 playback on my BD player if I burn it as a data disc rather than a DVD video disc. What I can’t seem to figure out is how to do this starting with the 8.5 gig BDMV folder. Can I just burn this folder to the data disc? Or do I have to somehow convert it to a single video file with the audio track that I want?
As far as making the data disc, do I just use Disc Utility (Macbook Pro with SuperDrive) to burn it as I would any other data disc?
'Cause Trump will have nuked the solar system by then.
That’s one way to destroy radical Islamic terrorism and end nation building.
Leave it to Mala to turn this thread from “which version is least bad” to “this is why I love the special editions!”
YOU BETTER BELIEVE IT… YOU BETTER BELIEVE IT…
All we’re saying is he’s a similar type character. The fact Eastwood’s character doesn’t have a name is incidental to the plots.
Dooku lightening was one of the stupidest things in the prequels.
Looking forward to A Few Credits More and The Light, the Dark, and the Wookie.
I figured you meant he was old and should go to Vegas to resolve a midlife crisis.

I’d also be interested in a Vader standalone set during the time between ANH and ESB based off the Vader comics by Marvel. Vader trying to regain his position in the Empire, using Boba Fett to track down information on the Rebel that blew up the Death Star, having him plot to overthrow the Emperor, and wipe out an entire squadron of Rebels on his own after the set a trap for him. It’d be interesting to have an entire Star Wars movie focused on the villian, with the good guys only dropping in from time to time as opposed to the other way around.I would rather have a Vader film set between ROTS and SW. Not only would it give us Vader killing Jedi (like what should have been shown in ROTS) but we would get to see Vader struggle with his diminished potential, his Dark Side training, the actions he took in ROTS and how he got used to his cybernetic suit. There’s a lot more room for growth with that option.
EDIT:
Hopefuy with the success of the main saga films like TFA, Disney will become confident enough to really take risks with the spinoffs.
Rogue One seems to be going into a different and bold direction with it essentially being a war film. Some will complain that “It doesn’t feel like Star Wars” which is a complaint that will be abundant as it pertains to these new films but it doesn’t matter to me as long as they make good stories and try something different every now and again. Hopefully Episode VIII will continue this trend and seeing as how Rian said the film would be weird it seems as though risks are being taken in that film as well.
In a world without the cheesy prequel backstory, Aniken Skywalker, a Star Wars Story would’ve been awesome. That, RO, and maybe some sort of Kenobi solo story, would’ve made a great prequel trilogy.
