MAC or PC
Time
It's kinda funny because I was at the dentist's office yesterday and I had my copy of "iCon: Steve Jobs" book with me because I was reading it in the waiting room. The dentist asked me if I was a Mac fan because her husband is a computer consultant and can't stand them. Yet her brother is a graphic designer and swears by them and even her dentist office has two iMac all in ones as admin computers. I so desperately wanted to ask if her husband had ever even used a Mac just to test my long-running idea. But she had a drill in her hand and I didn't want to upset her.

Mac Pros:

Notoriously better at image and video processing. While PC's have caught up and, in some cases, surpassed Macs, Macs have history on their side and the fact that you can do all this "out of the box" whereas you need to upgrade your PC after market to do it well.

Ready to go out of the box. Needs very little, if any, after market upgrading.

Less likely to be attacked by viruses. It's not as though they're more immune, per se, they just have less chance of being targetted because of the lower usership.

You can pretty much guarantee that anything that says it works with your Mac is going to. Since there is only one maker of Macs, there is only one system to which hardware and software must adhere.

MUCH prettier.

PC Pros:

Much cheaper.

Easier to support.

Can be bought anywhere.

Software is easy to obtain.

While some argue it's easier to upgrade the hardware, Macs have become just as easy anymore.

Better for gaming.

Notoriously easier for networking. Has become better for Macs as major Windows based network systems are becoming more friendly.

I am a former PC user. Check that, I'm a former PC ownder. I still do use a PC at work and have no qualms about recommending them based on the purpose. But I far prefer Macs. I find them to be much more user friendly and straight forward. And it's so much fun to get into debates with people about the merits of Macs vs PCs. Usually, the fun is derived from the fact that most PC users are arguing from ignorance as 90% of them have never so much as laid a finger on a Mac. They may have read about them and their "problems" but most are reading from pro-PC sites. Mac users are arguing from both perspectives because most of us are former PC devotees. The number is dwindling as Macs integrate themselves into more households and the user base is getting younger and younger (to the point where many may really never have used a PC); but for the most part, this is the case.

Ah, he's full of monkey spunk. It's the Snags from the ANH cantina. Heck, the figure was released before the HS was aired, wasn't he? I dunno. I don't care. How many of the Cantina figures for ANH actually look like the ones that showed up on screen? Very few had enough screentime for us to really tell. They could take any liberty they wanted in the design phase and we'd be none the wiser.

MANGLER BROS., INC. IS NOW CLOSED HERE
Time
Okay, to clear matters up...

I was second in charge of Mangler Bros, Inc., as per an edict by Dayv when he was still pretty regular here and when Motti left. I've been running ops behind the scenes. Keeping under the radar. That's how I operate. Since we're pretty barebones here at the moment, I couldn't afford to get too heavily involved in any spec ops. I've been running surveillance and reconnaissance. Planning future missions.

Since Dayv was on hiatus, I was the de facto in charge... as per him. And you don't fuck with nor second guess The Man.

Whether you want to admit it or not, I was in charge. Believe whatever any of you want. Put your figureheads in charge in your own minds. There is a certain inalienable truth, though, and that is that I was running things.

And, now Dayv is back and I can confirm that with no doubt in my mind whatsoever. He is not a clone, not a replicant, not an infiltrator. I have spoken with him personally and can confirm that is, indeed, him.

The man is back. And I relinquish my CEO Pro Temp position to the man.

Do not question it. Dayv's back. And he's watching you all. And I still back his decisions and will play second gun in his road trips. So watch it.

Yep. I actually consider them both to be different figures since they really are that different. Not the same as two different sized heads on Han Solo in my mind. And, therefore, I consider the blue Snaggletooth to be one of the figures I need to complete my collection. I have seen the blue Snaggletooth before as friends of mine had him when I was a kid. I always thought he was the coolest damn thing in the world especially since the short Snaggletooth was always one of my favorite figures. Still want to get him. Just can't find him at a reasonable price.

Warbler, not sure exactly why. I would assume they were trying to improve on the mold. I mean the big headed one looks terrible. Not that the small head is that much better but at least he has the part in his hair.

I dunno if this counts as a "colloquialism", per se, but I like to use the start phrase "color me..." For example, when I'm interested in something, I say "color me curious." When I'm feeling weird or sarcastic, I'll say "color me crazy." Stuff like that. That what you're looking for, Sessler?
