So all it takes is a little video editing...id doesnt matter that the original negative is cut today in the
SE form...if the original elements are left in the vault too they can recut it on video to be
the way it was.

I'll hold out hope on this statement.

Not true. The last OT set on VHS was released in late 1998/early 1999. It was a repackage of the SE OT that also included the extended trailer for TPM. Before that was the first SE VHS release in late 1997. Before that was the THX remastered "Faces" edition in late 1994/early 1995 (I remember b/c it was my sophomore year of college and a friend of mine picked it up for me at a MediaPlay in Rockford, IL -- the only place that had the widescreen edition still available). That was available in both full screen and widescreen. The fullscreen was packaged in a stacked box with a slip cover like the SE sets. The widescreen was packaged in a flat "letterbox" box that allowed the three movies to sit side by side. The box was flat black and had the faces logo on the front of it with nothing else except a logo on the spine. Great set. I own this one. Die Hard also came packaged this way when the trilogy was released in letterbox on VHS.

Thunderbirds! are GO!! in 2004.

Hicks was played by Michael Biehn of Tombstone and Terminator fame. Great actor. Too bad he had to muck it up with that stupid TV show he's in.

As for Thunderbirds... can't say I'm all that familiar with it. Heard of it. Never watched it though.

Hmm... just watched the trailer. Not too bad. I'll always dig Blur's "Song 2". But, did anyone else who has seen this just automatically think back to the "Lost in Space" trailers from a few years back?
