Funny... my fantasy growing up was Leia getting it on with me. Thankfully I don't resemble Jabba in any way, shape, or form (or so I'd like to believe).

But the color transition is what made Pleasantville what it is. Maybe, technically speaking, it would be worse for Man Who Wasn't There. But storywise, Pleasantville would suffer greater damage.

But what ticks me off is that Tom Morello said in countless interviews that the only reason he plays guitar in a band is because Rage (at that time) always made it a point to be political. They always had something to say. He told the interviewer(s) that if he had nothing to say, he would quit. Well, I can't say that Audioslave has much of a socially conscious message, so why's he still doing it? His guitarwork with Audioslave is pitiful when compared to his Rage work. He was so inventive with Rage. The only good thing to come from Audioslave is that Commerford and Wilk can be a bit more creative. They always were overshadowed by Morello and Zack de la Rocha. Other than that, Audioslave ain't that great.

Then you have great cartoonists like Berkeley Breathed who had a great strip in Bloom County. One of the best IMHO. Until he trampled all over its memory with Outland and his most recent incarnation which I think is just called Opus.

He left shortly after their tour in 98. The band's been on hiatus since that time and were even dumped by WB. They have no recording contract at all right now.

Yeah, but Pleasantville would be worse since the addition of color throughout shows the citizens eventual exposure to new ideas and freedom of thought and the like. God that's a beautiful and underrated movie.

That was my complaint with Audioslave. We have 75% of RATM in the band and their sound moved more towards the minority membership. I was so looking forward to a new style of singing from Cornell when I heard the band was formed. I was so let down.

So far as I know, she likes it. She used that album to get me into BNL. Plus we saw a New Years Eve show with them at Rosemont Horizon here in Chicago.
