I'm very much the same way about the moviegoing experience. It just pains me that movie studios don't treat it as such an experience when greenlighting some of the crap that they do.

After developing my appreciation for C-3PO later in life that I never had as a child (couldn't stand his whining), I actually liked the Droid Factory. Unnecessary... yes. But fun. The swapped heads with Threepio and some of the humor there was good. However, this scene does clearly demonstrate some of the trappings of blue screen acting.

Ah, it's a nod to one of the great underrated TV series ever... "What's Happening!!"

Reverse one of the Jars in Jar Jar and you've got Raj which was the abbreviated form of the fullname of the main character Roger. And the doubling up of Jar Jar is GL's way of paying homage to the name "Rerun".
