That's not the way I grew up learning about. And having been a U.S. Citizen for 13 years longer than you, Jimbo, I would think that I would certainly have come across that one somewhere in my U.S. Citizen Handbook.

I haven't seen the video. Just photos of the before and after. Very friggin' surreal. You just don't really think about how real this sort of thing is. It's like you're stuck in a bad slasher movie. But you can't turn this off.

Well, if you wanna argue it, the Cubs were the first "sell outs" in an age when there was no such thing. Wrigley used to be Cubs Park or Cubs Field or the like. Wrigley bought it out in the 40s I think. However, it's not quite the same as the other teams and parks in that the Wrigley's own the Cubs, they didn't just pay to have their name on the park like most do. What I hate most about this corporate naming scheme is that it can change so easily. In San Francisco alone, the Giants played for years at Candlestick Park which became 3-COM park after naming rights were sold. Then, a couple years later, the Giants moved into a new ballpark named PacBell (after Pacific Bell phone company), but even this has since been renamed to something else I can't quite recall at the moment. This is all in the span of about six years.

Sounds like Morse Code.

Try this, it sounds better...

"Ka Ka Ka, Pee Pee Pee, Ka Ka Ka" means you have a #1/#2 combo SOS (read: better clear out of the bathroom).

That'll hit her when she goes job hunting out of college. Not until then, unfortunately. That seems to be how it works for people I know who have daughters. Unless they are unusually well grounded like my wife. Out of three kids, she was always the responsible one. Had three jobs in high school and college and was never one for handouts. She has an almost sickly work ethic. I can't even compare to her in that regard. I'd retire today and never work again if I didn't need the money. She'd get restless.

its from The Last House On The Left.

That was one twisted film. Craven's first as I recall. He graduated from one of my University's #1 competitors. Just about 15-20 miles from here. The alumni association won't ask him for money because they don't want a direct association with a guy known for making horror films. He graduated from a very religious private university. My old boss actually interviewed him one time because she worked for the university. She said he was a really nice, down to earth guy.

You mean this last season you stopped watching? Because you make it sound like on the show's final season was when you stopped watching and, since the final season has yet to happen, I was wondering how you managed that one.

Lionel Hutz was okay. I think Phil Hartmann was one of the best voice providers on the show. Not that any one of his characters was truly great (although, if I were to pick one, it would be Troy McClure), but his voice was a great asset to the show.

You set up an account with Amazon and they provide you with logos and link information that you place on the website. People can click on the link and it will go to an Amazon "donate" page. I've seen it used by Greg Dean Schmitz of upcomingmovies.com when he was still running his old site before defecting to Yahoo! Now, funding is not an issue for him.
