Sequels that should never be...
Time
Don't bail on Bond yet. The franchise has some life and some rebuilding to do after the Brosnan run. I like Brosnan and I always thought that he would be a great Bond (dating back to him being on Remington Steele when they originally tried to cast him). But the films with him in it were terrible. I just don't fault him. The writing was horrible. There hasn't been a single Bond film since Dalton left the franchise that hasn't made me fall asleep. Dalton was the last really good Bond in terms of acting and writing. He was great but got panned critically and popularly. I still stand by License to Kill as one of my favorite Bond films of all time.

But I also have to say that I do like Roger Moore as Bond simply because I grew up with him as 007. He was my first exposure to the franchise so I hold a special place in my heart for Moore and his pompousness. Much like how many of you have a special place in your heart for the SEs of SW. Imprinting. Remember? Same way I prefer Van Halen with Sammy Hagar over David Lee Roth (not to mention the fact that they were more musically creative and original with Sammy at the helm as opposed to a couple albums that border on 30% cover songs with Roth).

Might be able to. My other Memory Stick hardware works fine (digicam). The Mac has no problem whatsoever recognizing the Memory Stick for just what it is without any software installation. I just plug the camera directly in to my USB port and whammo! There is the Memory Stick icon on the desktop. But it may not be much of a concern since I've got a PC at work, too. Can hook up the PDA to the PC at work. I was just wondering if I'd be able to sync from home as well.

Yeah, I'm gonna have to use IMDb on that one for sure.

Akira Ishida (Shin seiki Evangelion Gekijô-ban: Air/Magokoro wo, kimi ni; AKA Neon Genesis Evangelion: The End of Evangelion - theatrically released in Japan apparently in 1997) Tiffany Grant (Arlington Road) Spencer Treat Clark (Double Jeopardy) Tommy Lee Jones (Fugitive) Harrison Ford -- Han Solo

How about one of the most classic voices of all... Tex Avery.

Doesn't just about any lawsuit these days? C'mon. A woman sued two teenaged girls in her neighborhood because they left cookies on her doorstep. But since they rang her doorbell at 10:30 at night, they gave her an anxiety attack and she sued. She won. Just medical costs and court fees. No punitive damages. But seriously, though.

Okay, touche. And the Bulls are making a resurgence of late. But, in terms of the teams that I follow (the Bears and Cubs), I have one championship and only 1 championship game appearance, both by the 85-86 Bears while you have five (four appearances and one win) by the Phillies alone. I don't know the Eagles history.

What do you use as a word processor on your PDA and what kind of PDA do you have? I'm looking for a word processor for mine, but I only have 8 MB built in (I can get expansion memory if I think it will do me any good). But I also need to know what works with Palm Desktop.

Let's recap, shall we, since the Cubs last appeared in the World Series in 1945.

Phillies in the World Series - 1993 (lost 4-2), 1983 (lost 4-1), 1950 (lost 4-0).

Cubs in World Series - hmmm... we haven't even been in it!!!

Maybe you lost 'em, but at least you've been alive to see them in the Series for one or two of them (I can't remember how old you are).

Okay, I'll grant you that. But at least you guys have had several winning seasons lately. We've had one that I would consider a truly winning season. And then we lost to you in the first round of the playoffs. Last game in the old Soldier Field to boot.

You guys will win. And I would be willing to bet it will happen within the next five seasons. May sound like a long time to wait, but at least you're not also a Cubs fan.

My wife and I were both cheering every time the Eagles did something good. The first quarter, we were just cheering for their defense which did very well. Then the offense started to pick up a bit. Then it all came crashing down. My wife was really getting into it, despite being sick with a 102 fever. She loves her football and is a big fan of the underdog.

I still love the Super Bowl. And this year's game was really good despite the Eagles not winning (sorry, Warbler). Thankfully the game was good because everything else about the night sucked donkeys. The commercials were terrible. The postgame Simpsons and American Dad were both really bad as well. Blech.
